Cuddle statistics on profiles?

Ever wonder who really cuddles and who just likes to talk about it? I’d love to see a number on profiles that displayed how many cuddling sessions the person has done and how long ago. However, the session would need to be confirmed by both parties to count.

Unfortunately, we live in a world that’s saturated with pictures and banter. The joy of communication and in-person meetings is practically instinct.

  • Why is that so important to you? Just curious.

You can read karma but that's not always a reflection of how many folks they have cuddled nor how often. I have 15 karma reviews but have cuddled more than that, some multiple times, just not everyone does the karma thing. In the end, who really cares to be honest? Why do you feel someone would need to prove to you or anybody for that fact how often, or if at all, that they cuddle folks?

  • People generally like to keep their own private business private. Why broadcast it to the world to satify the curiosity of others.

  • I'm with everyone else. This would essentially be a useless feature that wouln't be worth the effort. Why are you so concerned?

  • You could always ask the person if you are really interested. But i do believe it is private and not a useful feature.

  • Personally I like the Karma feature because it makes me feel that much more comfortable with potentially cuddling with them. Tbh safety is paramount and I don’t want to put myself in a dangerous situation. Yes this is a cuddle website and was made with good intentions but unfortunately some people take advantage of this. Screening for me is necessary. I love Karma.

I can understand why someone might want a system like this to be put in place for safety reasons, but it's really unclear exactly what the OP means. Karma is the closest thing to a counter of "how many people has this person cuddled with" we have and it's fine as a way of measuring that.

"Unfortunately, we live in a world that’s saturated with pictures and banter" and also popularity contests, which is what it'd turn into if this sort of thing was implemented.

If someone has a bad experience worth reporting (either to the police, or the site staff depending on the specifics of course) then I trust that the offender will either be banned or arrested - I fail to see how this would actually protect anyone from anything for the potential safety side of things. If someone has a good experience then they can give karma, which serves the same purpose that the proposed system would (presumably) for finding reputable people to cuddle with.

It sounds more like an excuse to be nosy about someone's cuddling and would make it even harder than it already is for newcomers to get their first cuddles if having feedback were to be expected before any kind of cuddle meetup was considered. Just me being paranoid most likely.

  • In a nutshell, the whole thing reeks of cuddle envy.

  • "Cuddle Envy?" Anyway, I should’ve clicked on the “Karma” option for someone before posting this discussion. That's basically what I was looking for, as it's similar data. However, since I already had the response below typed prior to clicking Karma, I'm still going to send it. It answers that first question along with those who used the word "private" in their comment:

The request was geared towards “non-professionals” profiles and those with no friends or karma. It’s not so much a matter of being “important” but I feel it would definitely be helpful. Some of you mentioned this being too "private" or considered "nosy", but asking for ones "Height, Body Type, Ethnicity, Children, Last Online" is perfectly okay? If you want to go that route, then displaying # of cuddle sessions a person has done with a date is just as private of information.

If I was a professional at this, I'd definitely be eager to know how many times a non-professional has cuddled with another member on the site. It would make me feel at ease in knowing that I'm not the first one. Lastly, it would be beneficial to everyones time too. For example, let's say there are a few similar profiles, who've all been members for over 1 year, and all with no friends or karma. (Based on what I've seen, this is a common scenario in urban areas such as NYC) However, one of the profiles displayed a cuddle session they did within the last 30 days. It would be a no-brainer on who I would reach out to first, rather than sending a bunch of emails....

It's the same as how Amazon, Yelp, Ebay, Expedia, etc. display the actual # of reviews along with the purchase date. You know you're looking at this information before making a decision because it's helpful. Now I know you'll say "yes, but this is just food, trips, and products." Then I'll say, Exactly!!! These are all irrelevant compared to the wellbeing of any person. The more information, the better and I'm all for knowing as much as possible. In my opinion, there should be nothing to hide.

  • And re karma , folks still tend to give good karma at times even when have a bad experience. In fact someone was just recently banned who was given good karma by several users . Reason he was banned is for putting the persons hand on his parts and trying to kiss her repeatedly. The folks.he was given positive karma from had similar experiences , yet still gave good karma . Typically this is done from fear of retaliation, or simply not knowing how to react to the situation .

  • I read a lot of Karma submissions. Almost all are positive. It’s kind of, “Post a great karma for me, and I’ll post a great one for you.” I think a lot of people fear the reverse. If you leave negative Karma, the other person will do the same to you. It also surprises me that we read in form of no-shows or very last-minute cancellations, but I haven’t come across. karma post complaining of such. I admit, I read Karma Posts, but not extensively.

  • Nothing to hide is subjective and there have been several threads on this topic. Heck, there are pros who admit no one they know in real life knows what they do. Your situation is not reflective of what someone else’s situation is and therefore it is problematic to say there is nothing to hide.

  • I’m all for having the option of clicking a (hypothetically) button that would tally a member last minute cancellation or no-show. Now that’s “important” information.

I need to clarify my last post about “clicking on Karma” because it might be misinterpreted. I wasn’t talking about karma for a specific person. I meant Karma in general because prior to posting this discussion topic, I never clicked on it and had no idea what it was. I’ve only been on here for a few weeks and still learning all the features.

That’s why I said “in my opinion” regarding “nothing to hide.” In other words, an honest appropriate question should be entitled to an honest answer if you plan on meeting someone new.

  • actually so many foreignors that get on web and can fake you out of thousands that a history really helps ..

  • @manlymassages So can your next door neighbor. What does a history solve? I cuddle non-pros and pros. One you could conceivably track the other good luck. What would the point be?

  • [Deleted User]DarrenWalker (deleted user)

@manlymassages: This is an international site, so to be a true foreigner on here... hmm. I think you'd have to be from another planet. Outer space aliens are unlikely to care about human money, so I think we're safe in that area. (I'm even safer, because there's no way anyone could fake me out of thousands: I barely have one thousand.)

Anyway, back to the main topic—the number of cuddles someone's had often has more to do with scheduling and local availability than the type of cuddler they are. I'd probably never use that feature when picking someone to talk to.
