I thought I was having eyesight issues when I saw this thread after having commented on the pointless cuddles ones. If you want to start up a discussion @yash555 you might want to 1) pick a topic there's a fair amount of contention over on the site and 2) maybe go into some detail on an argument or point you want to make or one you're going against that you've seen.

If this is meant to be some kind of vindication to those who believe there's no such thing as harmless flirting then eh okay, thanks for the input.

flirt, 2. (of a bird) wave or open and shut (its wings or tail) with a quick flicking motion.
move back and forth with a flicking or fluttering motion.
"the lark was flirting around the yard"

    Behold harmless flirting:

Both UKGuy and Darren have very valid points, I can't wait to see the counterargument.

  • @UKGuy

There is, if you spell it "Cereal"... When did eating cinnamon toast crunch every hurt somebody?

  • @Mister_Chris ever heard of Diabeeetus? 😂🤣

  • @yash555 I harmlessly flirt with some of my straight guy friends, and even some co-workers... and they'll even do it back. They take it as a compliment, and I know it's not going to go anywhere. And when they do it with me, I take it as a compliment and nothing more.

However in saying that, harmless flirting by one, could be misinterpreted by the other person... Although, that applies to pretty much anything that comes out of anyones mouth laughs

  • What if the person in question doesn't realize they are flirting? Like they are so clueless to flirting and the like that they don't realize they are doing it, or when it's being done to them? I'm asking for a friend.

  • Oooo, you look hot behind that keyboard.

  • I guess if you're scared of relationships, racy jokes, or need-fulfilling no-strings-attached physicality, then you'd think flirting is always harmful :/

You're probably gonna get hurt a lot too if you actually think that. Pretty sure you can't stop people from flirting with you.

  • Depends on how it's used. Alcohol is harmless if you have an occasional drink, but very harmful if you drink 10 a day. You eat eggs, it's healthy. Injecting it into your blood stream is fatal. Flirting, as described here, and used properly, in my humble opinion, is harmless and healthy. If your doing it behind your wife's back, point made.

You ooze sexiness when your fingertips touch the keys and your blue eyes shine like sapphires when the light from your phone reflects off of them.

MOD: Comment removed. Some parts were sexual in nature. [SoulcuddlerZ]

  • Oh i forgot!
    Her: let’s switch gears
Me: you can switch gears with me anytime
    And
    Me: can you drive stick?
Her: i can, if you teach me....

  • @SoulcuddlerZ i meant the comment to be humorous and not taken serious. I didn’t think it was terribly sexual as it was ridiculous in nature. But ok

I'll die slightly miffed if I die without finding out what the OP's intent was when making this and that other thread.

  • I think he was harming the flirt community.

  • I wonder if the OP is talking about the pain of rejection. or the pain of having someone accidentally step on your toes when they get up close to whisper sweet nothings in your ear

  • @Sallert whispering sweet nothings would likely violate Cuddle Comfort rules.

  • @Sallert Whispering sweet nothings is toxic masculinity.

  • “Flirting is a promise of sexual intercourse without a guarantee” Milan Kundera

  • It all sounds subjective , flirting has a energy beyond words , I disagree that flirting is harmless . For it to be harmless everyone would need to have one mind and all think and feel alike 🧐🤔🙂
    My 2 cents 🥰

  • I think flirting is simply a fun social exercise. It's as harmful as happily smiling. The action itself is not harmful, but the intent perceived by others (real or imagined) may cause harm through no fault of the person generating the action.

  • @jewise3005 Oh no... that description of flirting makes me cringe ><

Just curious...how are we defining 'harmless' and 'harmful' in this context? That was the first thought that came to my mind when I saw this thread. Thoughts? Anyone?

  • A thread listing everyone’s Favorite cereal would have been more interesting.

  • @boomerang86 Frosted Mini Wheats. Now you started it.

  • Lol, good choice. I will go with Honey Nut Cheerios.

    Honeycomb for me.
