First message double-submitting on mobile site

I've only seen this happen when sending a first message to someone on the mobile site (not the desktop site), but sometimes when I send a first message, it'll spin loading for a minute then show a double message sent... I don't press the send button twice, just once.

    If its greyed , it is just showing you where you type your NEXT message. Type over the duplicate or you will send a delayed duplicate
