On this site, once I delete the conversation, does that get deleted from other person (receiver) too.

  • @nicepeter When you delete a conversation, it only affects your inbox. Not the other person's. I'm curious though, why delete messages, and why is it relevant if it's deleted from the other person's inbox?

  • LMAO

Think before you speak. Mean what you say, say what you mean. Be a gentleman.

  • Funny username 😅

@Catloaf - Sometimes I delete a conversation because I want all memory of a particular exchange (rude, crude or otherwise) completely erased. LOL. Who wants that hanging around?

  • @SJSpooner I know the feeling all too well :s Sometimes I have to go through all those bad memories when I'm screening if some correspondence looks too familiar, lol.

@Catloaf i sent a message to someone and did not get reply. Accidentally deleted the conversation and wondering whether to contact them again or just ignore them.

  • Oh I see. Sorry about that. Yes, they'll still have a copy. Some people can't be arsed to even respond "no thanks", but that's the way of the world. Better luck next time. :(

  • Stay on the boards and communicate long enough and you'll have communication threads of deleted, banned, and blocked users. It's a convenient way of seeing the trash that takes itself out.
