Instant Pro

Almost every female that's signed up in Los Angeles lately disappears into the pro-world almost immediately.  Shouldn't there be some sort of training or experience or feedback before they get invited into that realm?  I feel it also hurts the business of Pros who have already established themselves by over-saturating their market. No?

Thinking out loud, but hear me out... what if in order to go Pro you had to accumulate X amount of Karma?  I believe it would cut down on the amount of Pros who are actually hookers as well as Pros who are in it for quick cash rather than the actual healing benefits cuddles provide. Being cute and owning a couch and/or bed doesn't auto qualify you for Pro cuddling. Could save a lot of people headaches as well as weed out those who aren't serious about the Profession and at the same time give those of us who don't believe in exchanging money for cuddles some people to cuddle with while they're building Karma. Food for thought.

Also kinda annoying that if you have a vagina you can sign up and be a Pro within 24 hours on this site but if you have a penis there's almost Zero hope for being a Pro?  I get supply/demand and all that, just bothersome... and this is an argument for another thread but venting haha :)

Thoughts?

@mark I will volunteer to train them :-)

Interesting ideas and I will give it some consideration. I'm not sure I'm inclined to have requirements that cause a delay before they can be identified as being on this website for the reason they are actually on this website. I'm concerned that will add confusion and frustration to private messages and possibly make it more difficult for me to streamline everything here which is an ongoing objective. But perhaps another angle is to reward Pros who take the job seriously by having them stand out from the crowd compared to regular pro status.

I've done a couple of experiments with male pros over the last year and I'm not giving up on that. For various reasons the next step with that will be looking at a predefined monthly contribution model with auto-acceptance rather than commission based arrangement post-application. Will see how that goes.

In all seriousness, I agree with you @cuddledingo to a certain degree. I like that there are more pros especially since a few newbies have popped up fairly close to where I live. I think the variety is great. I don't know if training is possible or if they should receive a certain amount of karma before they can go pro. I do have an idea that I feel is reasonable.

What if new professionals have to have a certain amount of cuddle sessions where the can charge a maximum of $40 an hour? If they can successfully make it through the agreed upon number of sessions, they can then raise their price.

I think this is reasonable because in several jobs, you don't walk in at top pay, you work at het raises along the way or you build up a resume with experience that earns you a higher dollar amount.

    Just a thought
  • What kind of training would you suggest, and who would do the training? :)
I think the more pros the better.

  • [Deleted User]Spoonie (deleted user)
    I can help train...

@poonie I called it first lol

Haha, made me laugh @Morpheus !

But yeah, in all seriousness it just seems there's no qualification other than being a girl. I know at the end of that rainbow this is a business and it's an easy money making scheme for most short timers. I feel there is no separation from actual Professionals and girls who just don't want to work at Starbucks, though, and it's half of the reason why this business is sketchy (guys who think cuddling = sex being the other half). Some sort of tiered system definitely sounds the right way to go (thanks Morpheus) but then how does CC make ends meet?  I wish I had the answer or the time to think it up... mostly I'm just venting because it seems every new girl goes Pro within 24 hours.

@cuddlelingo love you in a non gay way for this and 100% behind you and agree. I knew @mark would say the and will listen but not take it whole hearted as pro also affects him and his bread. along with fact head doesnt agree when i brought up this fact that every newbie girl recently is instantly a pro!!! , evidence speak for itself. I do think every girl undermoon being a pro coz her vagina and this will kick it for all.

I sure a lot guy here for cuddles for no exchange money will start to be detured and not.bother and in return it hit all with less clients . so @MARK I know we we had our issues u really should listen to both sides ..you can't have your cake and eat.it.

I decided to do some database queries to end this debate. The three month period of Nov 2016 to Jan 2017 had significantly more Pros join than ever before. For that period Pro Females represented 11.86% of total Female Joinees.

That's higher than I expected but nothing like the perception you have which is distorted from only looking at female members who have photos uploaded. Remember, most do not upload a photo but all Pros are required to.

@mark when I search, I always put down the max search which is within 300 miles. Is there anyway you can run those numbers again with a search limit within 300 miles of Los Angeles? @cuddledingo is within that area and I would bet that the numbers within that search area would be more in support of his statement.

school friends have always told.me CALI and LA along with miami are by far places you find money hungry girls. Pro links up with why so many pro's , I glad England not that bad YET!
  • From a *FEMALE* NON-PRO's perspective...

I've never posted on a "forum" / public thread before, but I just had to chime in. Ha

    My thoughts...

Question #1 from Cuddledingo: Shouldn't there be some sort of training or experience or feedback before they get invited into that realm?

    • My thought #1: Cuddling isn't rocket science, it's pretty self-explanatory. In short, it's basically hugging / embracing each other in the laying down position. If there is anything more than that, or if the client wants something more than that, this site / and its Pro services may not be for them.

    ---

Question #2 from Cuddledingo: I feel it also hurts the business of Pros who have already established themselves by over-saturating their market. No?

    • My thought #2: No. Having an over saturated market of Pros mainly hurts those who doesn't want to pay for cuddles (users like yourself -- which explains why you are questioning this / want to make it harder for people to become Pros). However, paying clients like @greenearth have vocalized, having more options to choose from is ideal for someone willing / wanting to pay for such services.

    ---

Question #3 from Cuddledingo: "Thinking out loud, but hear me out... what if in order to go Pro you had to accumulate X amount of Karma?  I believe it would cut down on the amount of Pros who are actually hookers as well as Pros who are in it for quick cash rather than the actual healing benefits cuddles provide. Being cute and owning a couch and/or bed doesn't auto qualify you for Pro cuddling. Could save a lot of people headaches as well as weed out those who aren't serious about the Profession and at the same time give those of us who don't believe in exchanging money for cuddles some people to cuddle with while they're building Karma. Food for thought."

    • My thought #3: Accumulating an X number of cuddles before one can become a Pro is only advantageous for those who are not willing to pay. However, believe it or not, having Pros and clients willing to pay for cuddles, is how CuddleComfort is able to survive, operate, and offer this "free" platform without putting up pestering ads. And last I checked, hookers are those willing to do SEXUAL activities for money. So if anything, this site would be able to help prevent someone who may have considered selling their bodies for money, to turn to a more safe and positive opportunity like CuddleComfort to help reach ends meet while maybe going to school, paying off loans, or perhaps just wanting to make some extra money on the side. Similar successful / familiar business models include Uber, Lyft, AirBnB, etc. This approach brings more power to the everyday people who wants the freedom, flexibility, and money via incorporating what they already have / do on a regular basis. "Weeding" out those who aren't serious about the profession clearly wouldn't have their Karma built up -- so THAT'S one of the ways in which paying users can determine whether to use their services or not. At the end of the day, it's up to each individual to use their best judgment and/or preference. Some prefer to charge for cuddles, some don't. Some prefer to pay for cuddles, some don't. The statistics don't lie, as Mark mentioned, there are a lot of non-Pros on here too. It's just they don't loudly advertise themselves with sexy / cute pics to attract potential cuddle partners like the Pros do (it is a business for the Pros after all), so the non-Pros are easily dismissed and/or cast in the shadows. I don't think it's fair to question the Pro system just because there isn't enough non "cute" pros willing to cuddle [you].

    *** My background ***
I am a NON-pro, cute [subjective], who has met and cuddled other non-pro users in the past thanks to CuddleComfort.

@cuddledingo As you know, I was willing to cuddle you (even though I didn't necessarily find you "cute" [subjective]). But after reading your "rant", I've had to reconsider.

The perks of being a NON-pro = I can pick and choose who I want to cuddle.

    ---

P.S. Omgosh~ Hi, @Mark! You must be one of the creators! Thanks for the site / developing this growing community. You and your team are doing a great job. All the best =) Feel free to PM me for feedback if you'd like, or just to say "Hello"!

@sweetxcuddles way to kill a thread, write out a long reply that no one wants to read, insult the guy who wrote it, then try to kiss Marks ass and you did all of this in your very first comment on the message boards. Way to go, you are AWESOME!!! Regarding Dingo not being cute, at least he has the courage to post pics of himself. How about you post a full pic of yourself and show us how beautiful you aren't.
  • @brains4 @thecigarclub
lmao! You guys are hilarious. Thanks for the laugh. Like seriously, no sarcasm -- I'm smiling from ear to ear cuz you guys are too cute with your hypocrisy and all. I really adored the fact that you guys are trying to stand up for each other <3

The one and probably the only time a non-Pro female decides to speak out and share her opinion on the topic (which was ASKED to be given), y'all can't seem to handle it.

P.S. I've never met or spoken to Brandi.
P.P.S. I can throw Mark a damn compliment if I want. After all, he brought all of us together! Show some appreciation, sheesh~

    @brains4

Briefly in response your interest over the financial side of this website, there are threads from a couple of years ago that demonstrate that the Pro element here came about organically with community guidance and was never considered at the time of the platform's creation.

But getting to the purpose of this post, for me your latest contribution is the final straw. You seem incapable of communicating in a non-aggressive manner on this forum.  The only reason I allowed you to re-register after your original ban was because I was waiting for a member to provide details over an incident involving you. I have recently received that information. But even if you choose to challenge that incident and we don't include it in the equation, your general appetite for conflict on and off the forum is enough for me to take action.

For the purpose of fairness I do want to recognise that you are not the only member of concern but you do appear to be the worst and I genuinely believe this community will benefit from your absence. You are now banned and if you manage to circumvent you will be banned again.

Professional just means "I cuddle for money".  It really has nothing to do with any kind of qualifications or specifics in training.

I think it's great that brains was removed. He was rude and out of control but he did have some valid points. One of the things that we are tired of is how we as men/clients are always the ones that are made out to be the bad party. I know I speak for some of the other guys and we feel that there is one female in particular in the Los Angeles area that is constantly rude and puts men/clients down whether she's straight out or passive aggressive. We are tired of being referred to as perves and all of the other insulting things that she says. I doubt that she has ever been reprimanded though for the things that she has said and that's either because she's seen as a poor little female and is being coddled or she's seen as a money maker for the site. Fair is fair and if people like brains are going to be reprimanded, then females who are rude need to be reprimanded as well.

I too am glad that no brains was removed. However, some of the Pros on here need to remember that us clients are paying our hard earned money to see YOU! While there may be a few bad apples out there calling us perves and sheep is too much. Whatever happened to customer respect? I see far more negativity towards the clients in these threads then to the Pros. SOME Pros should be happy they have this site to earn a little extra cash. Afterall, this is a pretty cushy gig if you ask me.
  • [Deleted User]Unknown (deleted user)
Thanks for bringing that up @masterofcuddle in another thread, the pro that we are speaking of referred to us clients as perves and sheep. That is very rude and I don't understand why nothing is being done about it.
  • Yeah, I'm started to feel disrespected and belittled by one of the pros on here.  Cuddling is fun and actually a pretty easy job, but some pros act like they're doing us a huge favor for even doing it.  Maybe if you were doing it for free you could act like that..but if you're getting paid to do something many other women do for free, please stop asking like you're doing us a favor so much.   That's just not a nice thing to do.   I am grateful that pros do their job...but having an ego about it is very offputing

Some pros shouldn't assume that clients are pervs. This is actually the only site where I feel the clients are taken for granted. Yes a pro plays a part in bringing revenue to the site but that money comes from the clients pocket. When you have pros disrespecting clients who make a legitimate clothing request it makes me wonder if I came to the wrong site where instead of paying a fee and getting platonic affection im just going to be disrespected.
  • [Deleted User]cuddledingo (deleted user)
Wow... I don't check a thread in a few days and it goes crazy.  Sorry... I wasn't trying to start a fight.  @sweetxcuddles was just voicing her OPINION guys, like I was.  No need to attack her or call her names.  She can not find me cute... it's fine.  I wasn't talking to her about cuddling because I found her attractive, she just seemed nice in our talks and we wanted the same thing.  Since it's out in the air, we talked about meeting, I gave her my number, then I never heard back.  I hold no hard feelings and would still meet up if she wanted.  What's a silly thread between friends?

    But to answer her attacks...

#1 - Cuddling doesn't just have to be laying with one another. Hand holding, walks, hanging on the couch, etc can all be forms of comfort in the realm of cuddling.  I've had some girls on here I never met even ask me if kissing fell into my realm of cuddling because it did theirs.

Furthermore, "training" isn't just learning how to cuddle.  Training can also encompass what to do if a client gets perverted or aggressive, how to draw boundaries, how to safely protect yourself before you show up to a new client's place (texting the address to a friend, calling once you're safe, meeting in public prior to a session, etc), as well as many other things that could benefit a Pro.  Being friendly obviously seems to be a major complaint to those who do pay for Pros, so maybe a training course could grade potential Pros and judge if they need improvement in order to carry the Cuddle Comfort brand.

#2 - First, I ended the sentence with a question "No?" because I don't know.  I was asking for educated opinions and wasn't making a statement of fact by any means.  Second, if you had a skillset that got you hired at a company and you shared 20 clients with 5 others, then life is good.  Then all of a sudden 20 more people got hired off the street and were your equals all of a sudden, you would have to share 20 clients with 24 others doing the same thing you did.  My question was mainly to Pros to see if they were losing money by the influx of Pros, not necessarily clients who are happy there were more options.  That's definitely a plus for the client... but is it for the Pro?  Sorry I wasn't more clear on this question.

#3 - Yes, you are correct and that was the EXACT purpose of the idea.  Having to accumulate X amount of Karma would give people, like me, the opportunity to cuddle more people.  I've said this in so many threads, so I'm sorry I didn't reiterate.  Personally it's not that I'm unwilling to pay, but to me, exchanging money for someone to spend time with me and cuddle with me makes me uncomfortable. The way my brain works, I cannot be comfortable or enjoy the experience if I know their primary reason for being there is a paycheck.  No disrespect to anyone who is comfortable with it all, but for me it just isn't the experience I'm after.

As for hookers/prostitution... I've had the offers AND heard of more stories of people on this site asking for money to provide more than cuddles.  I know a girl who is young and cute and she's been offered thousands of dollars a month to basically be a sex slave at beck and call from several guys on CC.  I think $5000/month was the highest offer she got.  No, she didn't take any of them up on it, but in this business it's a fact that it does exist.  Mark does a great job policing it and, from what I've seen, people do a good job of reporting it when it is offered.  I feel you, again, misread what I was saying so I will try to say it better... Three types of Pros exist on this site:  1) Pros who are actually hookers (ie make deals for more than cuddles)  2) Pros who are just in it for quick cash  3) Pros who are legit and really want to help people with healing cuddles.  Granted the hookers may be a very small percentage and do get dumped as soon as they are discovered, so don't feel I'm claiming it's taking over the site... I'm just saying it exists in however small capacity.  Now, I appreciate your idealistic view on CC as saving people from prostitution, but I feel sites like this can actually be more of an enabler toward prostitution than a deterrent.  You're already taking money for laying in bed with someone... why not take a little more to grind a bit?  Or maybe a little more to take off your clothes?  Etc etc.  That's an unfortunate reality to lifestyles like this and happens both ways as well as with same sex cuddlers, and perhaps a debate for another thread.  One I personally don't care to contribute to further than I already have.

So, ultimately what I was offering in the statement I made was a way to provide better quality Pros and job security for those Pros who actually want to help people and heal through cuddling.  If someone is in it for quick cash or prostitution, they're not going to go through a karma building regiment or a training course or anything that takes time.  But if they can join and 24 hours later start charging Clients for Cash, then they will.  And if you bust someone for prostitution... well Gmail gives people unlimited free email addresses and they can sign up with another email, post a different pic, and become Pro in 24 hours once again.  Or not become Pro and charge under the table like several non-pros I've talked to have surprised me with when we were scheduling a meet up.  I've reported every one to Mark because that's basically stealing money from CC and a no no.

Furthermore, I am aware and I have mentioned in my comments above that this is a business and ultimately Mark et al need to make money.  I claimed that I'm just venting my concerns and creating a dialogue, one that I hoped would be civil, but don't have the answers or solutions.  I definitely don't judge Mark or the system here for upgrading every girl that wants to Pro because hey, that brings in money for the site we all love etc.  At no point did I ever disguise the fact that yes, I was being selfish and looking for a way to create more Non-Pro cuddlers in Los Angeles.  Yes... IN LOS ANGELES.  This whole thing starts with me talking about local cuddlers.  I only do like 20 mile radius from Burbank and I also include non-pros who don't have pictures.  It's been my experience that nobody replies that doesn't have a pic in my area.  I can't say I've messaged them all because if they don't input any of the profile stats I figure they just logged on to check it out then disappeared.  But if they are active and have stats, I have or will no doubt at some point send them a message.

    [continue to part 2]
  • [Deleted User]cuddledingo (deleted user)
    [part 2]
Also, even though I don't care what you feel about my looks... I kinda feel that it's shitty of you to say that I'm not cute to you and then put "subjective" in brackets like it wasn't a cheap shot.  I don't know if you were trying to pick a fight or what, but I'm a little more mature than to attack your physical appearance in reply.  I really don't have anything bad to say about you or your looks anyway.

Oh and yes... your opinion is asked for and it was rude of some of the guys to attack you for it.  One guy was just an asshole so don't judge all of us on that guy (even if he was defending me, he was an asshole about it).  It could be because to them, like me, it seems you didn't really read what I said or understand what I was offering.  Or it could be because they have had similar experiences on this site that I have had.  Just because you haven't had similar doesn't dismiss my topic.  I was venting but also trying to find real solutions for exactly what I said I was going for: making more non-pro cuddlers who actually cuddle available to people like me. But why vent without trying to be productive?  So that's when I started offering my thoughts on the system and the ideas above which could benefit Mark, the site, Pros, Non-Pros, and yes... ultimately me.

In conclusion, I appreciate you voicing your opinion because this is a site for women as much as it is for men and all of our voices are equal here.  I hope you continue participating and I hope in some way this post has helped clear the air between what you thought I was saying and what I actually was saying.  If it hasn't, feel free to drop me a private message OR let's just agree to disagree?  No need for name calling or hate.  <3

I have no issue with sweetxcuddles. While what she said was rude, she's not a pro and I think she just posted once so id probably just ignore that comment and move along.

When there's a pro that insults clients in multiple topics and the site doesn't care is when I have an issue.

@cuddledingo yea we aren't talking about @sweetxcuddles although she was rude and another example of a female on the site that isn't reprimanded regarding her rude comments on the boards. There is just a general feeling of discontent among the men/clients on here regarding the disparity in treatment from clients to pros. Brains voiced his opinion and was deleted from the site while females namely one pro in particular consistently badmouth us and is allowed to get away with it. As We have stated, she very rudely recently referring to us as perves and sheep. We enjoy this site, the community and the professionals that are polite and are collectively asking that this behavior be stopped.

"Brains voiced his opinion and was deleted from the site while females namely one pro in particular consistently badmouth us and is allowed to get away with it. "

I think that's a little unfair. @brains4, who isn't a client, had previous history of alleged blackmail, abusive private messaging and was finally banned after his racist post. There just isn't any equivalence.

I have received reports about one particular client and one particular pro for how they express themselves here but neither side has been reprimanded yet. So I'm failing to see the inequality.

I've noticed a staggering difference between Pros and Professionals on this site.

Not just demeanor but presentation, intelligence and energy.
