I am sitting at home right now with an upper respiratory infection and it would be nice to cuddle but you know—I am sick. Which brings me to the question—ever cuddled the sick? No particular age, race or gender, just cuddling the sick.
Feverish bodies, dripped in sweat, contagious diseases... Doesn't sound like a smart plan. I'd come back when you're feeling better.
However, people with either permanent conditions or in the last stage of their life, I would cuddle.
You can keep the cooties to yourself thank you !

I am not contagious at all. My fever broke yesterday. I am on antibiotics. I am just achey and miserable right now is all.
@FunCartel - sorry, but I would not cuddle anyone who is potentially contagious, especially with a respiratory infection. I've already got a compromised respiratory system and when I get infections I get really really sick. I'd want the symptoms to be gone, gone, gone.

@Babichev oh I do not blame anyone for not wanting to. I just know it would be nice to be cuddled now, but after awhile I would get like what @pmvines says—leave me alone. I get moody when I am sick. But I would not do it myself if I were well and someone else were sick too. Someone has to survive and carry on human existence. 😀

Absolutely not. Quarantine your virus shedding self. That's a request to society at large! Yuck!
I have a lousy immune system, so... no. Unless I already have whatever it is, in which case what have I got to lose?
I've cuddled the sick before. Nine younger siblings, you bet I've cuddled the sick—but pretty much only when we were all already sick anyway. Sometimes it's nice to have somebody to be miserable with.

I really would cuddle someone who is sick! I remember being at a anime convention and I got sick! All my friends had that attitude of “stat away, don’t get me sick.” And that really sucked! Being sick is a part of life. And it is not fun! But it is very temporary!!! If a person needed a cuddle because they aren’t feeling well I would take my chances! People that I hug all the time get a cold or get sick and they say “you might not want to hug me I’m getting sick!” I hug them anyways because they mean a lot to me.

I once had Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, and I needed a few days of bed rest, if you do not know what it is, you can read about it on the Internet. And I just don't have enough cuddles.
CTS is very common. Why did you need bed rest for it when it is extreme pain in the wrist usually?

laughs in all honesty though, I cuddle my other half when he's sick. aaaaand, I work around people... If I didn't catch it from you... I'm SURE i'd shake hands, or touch a table, or something else that's been touched by someone else and get it.
