@boomerang86 you are making great efforts to start arguments . Calling @MissAdventurous out and making the reference you did seems like a personal bone to pick . I don't know you nor does it really matter at all to me . One internet stranger among many . But all of the pointless picking comments remind me of a teenage child with behavioural and personality disorders . Seems a bit much for grown adults to be taking part in
@boomerang86 I Have to say that I have found @MissAdventurous a pretty chill lady without an argumentative or mean bone in her body.
She may be a wonderful person. I object to calling Darren a hero for his comments. To recap he argued that the appearance of a pro has no relevance, and if you think it does it is because you are trying to have non-platonic services from that pro. Pmvines, an unkempt beard doesn’t make you a psychiatrist.
Sure keep arguing away , totally cool with me 🙂 And nope not a psychiatrist but am a clinical social worker with extensive background in diagnosing and treating patients in the mental health field . Was even a designated examiner for the state of South Carolina . Glad you like the beard 🤗

I am new here, and I am out. This 'discussion' reflects, unfortunately, the hypocrisy pervasive in quite a few of the forum threads. That's my perception, of course, and I'm sure you can all rationalize the continuation of these entirely fruitless discussions about, for example as here, the intentions and/or motivations that each individual here may have for being on this site. Like so many of the social media, these forums allow folks, particularly those with too much time on their hands, to vent rather anonymously, or to use them to showcase their self-acclaimed writing talents. It's a relatively small group of you who seem to have something to say about pretty much any topic that's presented, then engage into down-spiralling arguments about 'nothing'. Groups often form and battle lines are drawn. And then it becomes truly boring, and seems to be nothing more than a marketing event. And yes, there is likely a bit of disingenuity involved there.
I looked at several of these discussion over the last few days, just to see whether anything interesting would surface. Honestly, it didn't, at least not for me. Occasionally, a recalcitrant stands up, but gets shot down pretty quickly by the dominant forces here. Sometimes, one of those refuses to give in that easily - as in this thread.. ha..
I was skeptical from the onset about this site, and whether this would be for me. I did have one session that, to be honest, exceeded my expectations by far. There may be others who could prove my skepticism wrong. Maybe I should just have ignored the forum discussions; actually, that'd likely have made a big difference in forming my opinion. But no, at this point I have concluded this is simply not for me. Cheers.
I had a hunch that splitting the OP's original comment off from the other discussion was a good idea to prevent that discussion from being flooded. Wow... good idea it was indeed.
