Long gone Cuddle sites.

Not all businesses make it. In fact most of them fail. Anybody remember Cuddlr(app) and Cuddle Time Agency? Both of them are no more. Wonder where they went wrong. Why do you think Cuddle Comfort has lasted so long? Should it feel comfortable or careful that it does not go that same route? Surprised that Snuggle Buddies of a scam has lasted so long.

Before I was aware of CC or any other site I met someone who was a cuddler and part owner of Cuddlefix here in Alabama . They had some success but the primary stakeholder decided to close it down . Never really knew why . I never used it cus it was a pro only site . I like CC for the social aspect and the forums and that there is more to offer than simply being a medium to book appointments . A little something for everyone . That's why I believe it is successful and has more longevity . More of a diverse platform to keep folks interested .

Yea, the forums and community is what helps keep this site going.

  • A little off topic, but why doesn't this site have an app?

^^ @phenom_xm That would be nice if CC had an app.

  • I was a cuddler with Cuddle Time. They never even told me when they went under. I had to figure it out for myself.

On the subject of an app @CuddlesInParis and @phenom_xm, a PWA app is currently in the works for CC. This isn't the same as a stand-alone app that you'd launch from your home screen...it's typically expensive and tedious to develop and maintain apps, so it's probably best that Cuddle Comfort experiment with a browser experience that is optimized for the mobile experience first. The site team has probably already explored that option and has reasons for not going that route. The website would function much like an app, however. That's the purpose of PWA.
