I've some questions for bald fellas here. Or... I am also

edited August 2019 in General

interested in the experience of anyone that gave bald men a head massage. Just let me know which point you are speaking from.

I like to help relax the people I like. As well as have some more or less mutual relaxation exchange.

However, I am quite inexperienced in the whole area of massage. I never gave a bald fella a massage. I've been speaking with a guy that sparks my interest. We've planned to meet again. He happens to be bald, fully shaved.

Do you as a bald man like massage? Have you ever felt comfortable enough to not hide being bald. Though, uncomfortable to receive touch?

Are there any things I need to consider/be aware of?

Also, how do y'all fellas like your shoulder massage: gentle, firm, mixed, or? In what order?

We met to exchange some skills we possess, and I am taking some liking to him. So, I hope we could become massage exchange partners. Or possibly even, cuddle partners. Til one or both of us finds a relationship.

I hope to be able to open a discussion with him about touch, and see his willingness/comfort. Hopefully it all works out how I'd like. If not, then on to my next journey. :)

  • I understand I will need to go over pretty much all this with the person it concerns. However, I'd like to get some general understanding, as well. :)

  • Everyone is different and people like different things. Some people don't even like their head touched at all. So I'd discuss it with the person in question. As for massage techniques, there are hundreds of great tutorials on Youtube, and dozens on head massage.

  • I would love it any way it came. I assume.

  • First hurdle is making sure this person is interested in that from you

  • @pmvines if he’s not, another interested candidate might very well come, and he might be bald too. So, just trying to know. :)

@UKGuy for sure. I did watch some YouTube tutorials. Though difficult to know whether they are doing quite gentle/or not so gentle massage, and whether bald guys need a certain consideration with massage.

    @BashfulLoner awww. :)

  • @Lovelight true true nothing wrong with being proactive 😉

  • I am fairly new to massage stuff myself, but I think it's best to start off light, and ask them if they would like more pressure and how it's feeling. I tend to mix stuff up.

I am bald myself, but it's never bothered me. The only thing I hide my baldness from is the sun. I also apparently am abnormal in that head massage doesn't do a lot for me. I would much prefer shoulder or back or anywhere really. But I don't think that's typical.

If you were to ask me personally I would say there is nothing you need to be aware of or watch out for, but that's just me.

As to what I like, probably a mix of stuff. I don't think I have any particular preferences really, at least not yet.

Anyways I hope to have helped some. I hope everything goes well for you :)

@Lovelight I am bald by choice that I made 12 years ago & it has been one of the best decisions. No more paying for a haircut, just a clean razor, shaving cream & hot water.

I love having my bald head massaged as well as the bottom of my feet & the shins of my legs. Truly amazing !

  • Thank you everyone, your responses have been quite helpful. Now I feel more confident to go forth, and conquer. 🙂

  • Careful @Lovelight, you will be competing with the ball polisher at the bowling alley.

  • @FunCartel hahahahaha, I love boweling, and some competition too. I got this!

  • @Lovelight Hi, I have been both the giver and receiver of the bald head massage technique. As a bald man I love my head being massaged. I have massages other bald men and they enjoyed it very much, as well. I love to be cuddle and or massaged so shoulders, back and it full body feel good to me. I have exchanged cudddles and massages with pros before. Wish you the best with the new potential cuddle and massage buddy!

  • Does a bald massage feel better than a hairy head massage?

Having had long hair, and now virtually no hair, I can say that, for me, it’s two different sensations.

Longer hair tends to be played with, fingers run through it, bit of scritching, that sort of thing. All very nice.

Bald is more skin oriented touch, and having warm breath, or cool massage oil, on your scalp is also very good.

Either way, it’s about communicating with the person giving the massage what you like.
