Best Cuddle Experience

What’s the best cuddle experience you ever had?

  • I do not figuratively kiss and tell.

  • Awww, can't you just share what a few of your favorite things that happened? @FunCartel
My best experience so far was so mellow and nice, we fell asleep.

  • I like the kind where we both enjoy it . I don't like the kind where we don't .

My best cuddle experience was the first time I ever cuddled someone as an adult. I was in my 20's living alone in an apartment. A woman about my age moved in next door to me about the same time I did.

One night she knocks on my door upset because she has a black widow infestation and was looking for help. I Killed 13 of them. But those were just the ones we saw. She was panicking about the ones we couldn't see. It was too late to call the property manager, and she didn't know what to do. Trying to be a good neighbor, I offered to let her stay over before it even occurred to me that I didn't have a couch, and only the one bed. Wasn't even a real bed, which was still on my move-in list to buy. It was a blow-up mattress.

Although we didn't know each other well, I suppose I wasn't as threatening as those spiders, and she was glad to stay, even if we had to share a bed. It was a queen size, so there was enough room that we didn't need to touch. I fired up the projector attached to my DVD player, and we spent the next couple hours watching comedy movies on my wall until she calmed down enough to fall asleep.

Throughout the night, I felt her, ever so slowly inching closer and closer to my side of the bed. What does this mean? Maybe she was cold? I was a virgin and knew nothing about women. I know men are bad at picking up on signals, is this a sign? Does this mean she likes me? What do I do? Why is it so hot in here? My arm is getting trapped and falling asleep, is it appropriate to put it around her? OMG, there's light coming from the windows, was that the sun? Have I really been up all night worrying about this? I have got work in the morning... err I mean in a few hours.

I didn't sleep at all that night. At dawn, we were spooning, but to my relief and also simultaneous disappointment, she wasn't inching closer throughout the night. Now that the sun was up, I could see that our combined weight was deflating the air mattress making it sink in the middle, forcing us closer together and wrapping around us on all sides like a cocoon.

I stayed there until she woke up. I also found I couldn't get up because I was so stiff being on my side too long, not moving due to being afraid I'd wake her, my neck was sore, and my arm was numb. I was dead tired when I got into work, but the whole day went by so quick. I was in a good mood, and couldn't stop thinking about what just happened.

She slept over the next 3 nights because it took that long to get that situation resolved with the property manager. Luckily I wasn't as nervous the second night and finally got some sleep. That first night was one of the most stressful and uncomfortable nights of my life, but I wouldn't trade it for anything. I was instantly addicted to cuddling, and have never been the same since.

I truly was planning on buying a real bed for my new apartment, but now I was starting to become fond of that air mattress with a slow leak.

Was that an excerpt from a romance novel, or did that really happen? Either way, did you ever cuddle with her again? Great story.

This thread is duplicated anyway, as there is an old and long thread with cuddling experiences on here somewhere where I even believe that I commented once.

That is a 100% true story. Never did see her again much after those 4 nights. The property manager wouldn't respond to her requests. So she wrote them a letter saying she was going to get an exterminator and they can deduct it from her rent. They sent her a letter back to vacate the premise within 30 days and evicted her. So she moved out. I was working at AT&T and they were opening a new facility in New Mexico and sent me down there to get it ramped up. So I moved out of my apartment as well. Never saw her again.

A couple of months later when the project wrapped up and I moved back into town. I ended up finding an amazing 4 bedroom 2 bath, two-level duplex for only $500 a month! Cheaper and much nicer than my old apartment, and in a better area. Bigger room, vaulted ceilings, my projector now played movies 16 feet wide.

I visited my old place and I found out that the apartment building burned down shortly after I moved out of it.
So.... I guess it all worked out the way it was supposed to.

Evicted because of not wanting to live in a box of black widows. That sounds... like the kind of thing that would happen to me, honestly. Fingers crossed she found a larger, less spidery place with better landlords. Like you did!

P.S. "Kill it with fire" is maybe not the most reasoned response to a black widow infestation, but I could see it happening.
