It's becoming harder and harder to read these forums and restrain from becoming part of the problem. The vehement hatred from all around is astonishing and sad.
Makes me really wonder if it's worth sticking around.

It's why I sometimes drop off of the forums for a while, the toxicity seems to come in waves. I have faith that this behavior will blow over again eventually and then I'll be more active on the forums again.
@Sashamcgee if you feel the need to restrain yourself as you describe then taking a break as @triskele said would probably be a good idea. Sometimes do the same thing with other unrelated sites and communities and it tends to pay off, can allow for you to step back and reassess things one way or the other. Sorry to hear you're feeling the way you are but absolutely understand.
