Love♥️

How does it feels to love someone and loved by someone? <3

Comments

  • Fulfilling ☺️

  • It’s like having a swarm of hornets in one’s intestines.

It feels like walking a tightrope made of pixie dust over a gaping portal to hell, while oxygen deprived and getting tickles by your wildest hopes and dreams.

  • Eh it's over rated

  • Being in love and loved is "thisclose" to heaven when it's with the right person.

Being in love and loved is "thisclose" to hell when it's with the wrong person.

    I have experienced both.

  • For some people it gives a purpose to a life!

    @CalCuddlingGuy.
    I like it😊

  • It's a mixed bag where you might occasionally find a poo amongst your chocolates (or many if you happen to be with a person who is unhealthy for you). And both of you work to fill your boxes of chocolates with less and less poo and more and more chocolates. The chocolates are best consumed when you can love yourself first, though. :)

  • The first time, you think "This is wonderful". The second time, you think "This is wonderful, but will it last?"

  • Nothing ever lasts forever . If you choose to be in love , then you have to be emotionally mature enough to deal with that ending in one fashion or another

Love is ephemeral and best compared to the length of time of a young boy’s lavation.

  • Choosing to love someone unconditionally requires sacrifice and hard work; grace and forgiveness; trust and self love. I suspect it is even more difficult to find someone who offers that to you. However if you make that choice you just might find the magic and the worst case scenario is you will change someone’s world for the better.

  • It feels comfortable, safe and exciting all at once.

It depends on the type of love. Romantic love feels different from family love, which feels different from obsessive love (does this even count as love? depends on who you ask), which is different again from bff love.

And yeah, just feeling it yourself is different from feeling it and having it returned. (Or so I gather.)

  • @Catloaf thank you. At least it’s been my experience. More importantly I now know what to call that position of smug comfort our cat enjoys! 😀

  • Loving and being in love are two different things, and I've experienced both. Being in love comes and goes, and is largely about emotion. When it's not returned, that emotion can be excruciating.

Love is the desire and commitment to be of service to another person. That is the thing that gets you across the valleys when the sparkly feeling is no longer there.

    Both are important, I think.

  • A deepening state of comfort and contentment.

Love is a feeling like opening a hundred gifts on your birthday and getting everything you could imagine and wanted

  • @DarrenWalker and @barrista more excellent responses and distinctions.

  • Love is the most amazing gift a person can experience and sadly to say some people never get to experience true love.
