Cuddling nude

How would you define nudity? Is it reasonable to expect a purely platonic experience out of cuddling in the nude? I do believe nude cuddling can actually Bond and deepen genuine human connection through skin to skin contact. But how do you get to that place mentally and emotionally where you can physically cuddle with each other naked without acting on the sensual arousals many naturally feel? Should one red flag anyone who either request it or throw it in as an option when cuddling? It does not matter the gender. Just curious. Any thoughts ?

    It's actually against the Terms of Service, which says:

    When communicating with another member, you agree to never indicate a desire to cuddle while doing any of the following: (1) being nude, (2) wearing only underwear

    So it's best to report it.

    (I think you're asking a reasonable question about whether it can be platonic, but it's also a safety issue).

    This probably works better with somebody you have a real connection with but if somebody requests this it might be a issue. If you meet up and the vibe is right and both people are comfortable thats a different story but it really depends.

    The only way this can work out is if you are partnered with someone who has control such as a spouse or if you have two naturists who want to cuddle together. Naturists understand that nudity is not to be conflated with sexuality, but the majority of society still marries nudity with sex.

    Just as a note I don't condone cuddling in the nude as a professional/enthusiast on CC. It's against TOS. And besides, it's too new a concept to be dragging something like nudity into it. We have to draw clear lines if we want people to start embracing the cuddling community and trusting this concept.

    Oh, and to answer that question: this topic has been broached before (it's been more than a year). I think it more depends on how the question is posed so I don't think it matters much whether the OP is male or female. Regardless, because cuddling nude or suggestions to do so is prohibited, this thread is probably at risk of shutting down. Its existence (or at least the brevity of the title) may give onlookers a bad impression of CC, or make people think that cuddling nude is allowed.

    I appreciate you though @Bles for bringing up this sensitive topic and love the quality of your profile btw.

    This sites terms and conditions do not allow for interest shown to nude absense of clothing or little bit of clothing cuddling. I will give my personal opinion. It’s tricky because many people would only cuddle nude with those they are sexually attracted too. So at any moment sexual activity could happen, due to many people not wanting to control the urge. Their are some people that could pull off nude cuddling without it going farther but very few. Plus taking a chance on this type of cuddling very risky in general.     One can get some skin to skin contact without being nude. If mutually agreed any of this can take place:

    Wearing a tank top, wearing about knee length shorts, holding hands, legs on legs, etc.

    However, I find the most beneficial part of cuddles, and hugs to be the soothing pressure exchange. Combined with some hand holding. Or head massage.

    That said, I find this question etc., highly questionable. Also, it is against CC rules as others have mentioned. So, I don't think this is even the platform to discuss said topic. I am sure moderators/etc., will help figure out as soon as they come around.

    Possible? Maybe. But there's no need to cuddle naked. Anyone requesting to do so obviously has ulterior motives. And if they don't, and they'd prefer to cuddle naked, then I say again, there's no need.

    Exactly, even if we allowed nude cuddling requests almost all of the time people requested it they'd need to compromise and not be nude due to the general preferences most people have regarding cuddling. If some people are asking even when it's against the TOS then they either haven't bothered reading them or almost certainly have something else in mind.

    I think that’s something that needs to be discussed and figured out once you’ve met each other and feel that kind of level of comfort. But the terms of service on this site are there for a reason - there is absolutely no need to even be discussing nude cuddling with strangers on here that you haven’t met, with whom you don’t even know what level of comfort you will have. If you are looking for something like that, there are plenty of other sites; this doesn’t need to be one of those.

    unfortunately, culturally (at least in the US) the vast majority of humans are deeply programmed that nudity=sex. @Catloaf speaks truly in regard to naturists. this is a subculture where nude cuddling would be encouraged. this is a topic that could lead to some really interesting conversation, however as already stated, TOS forbids this behavior and with good reason. it is for the safety of users and the site itself....absolutely report anyone requesting nude cuddles, or offering nude cuddles.

    As attractive as my preferred pro cuddle bud at this site is, I would never, ever, EVER bring that subject up with her. Seriously. From a male perspective, why risk ruining what works fine just as it is? I wouldn’t want to offend her personally or professionally by appearing to want to take the arrangement to another level. She’s been kind enough to invite and accept me into her home and personal space, and “going there” would most likely screw that up to the point where I’d possibly be asked to find someone else. Not worth the risk. Plus, it’s against CC rules anyway.

    As others have mentioned, nude cuddling stands as a violation of Terms & Conditions. Now, what happens between two consenting adults are their private lives. Still, nude cuddling is better not discussed here and any solicitation of same is grounds for a ban.
