  • Also wanted to let people know that the article does mention specific types of trauma such as CSA (childhood sexual abuse) or grief, so consider this a content warning. Thank you!

    City of Brotherly love

  • Greatly needed, worldwide, I wish we had a group like this in the Charleston, SC area. Time is out for men being afraid/ashamed to show brotherly affection; because they feel that their masculinity will be judged. Guys are hurting, depressed, committing suicide, and suffering in silence!!! If innocent cuddling, with another male, makes your life better, and produces healing results, GO FOR IT. Don't allow other people's opinions determine your happiness, know who you are, and walk into your destiny. Peace

@babestorm thanks for sharing such an insightful and informative article. This kind of conversation about male identity and the behavior and attitudes that define manliness is very necessary . Especially for young men trying to shape their sense of self. As a former educator, I've watched so many young men waste away under the burden of feeling different and not belonging Because they look and talk a certain way. Because they think a certain way or choose to dress a certain way. I hope that the Man Kind Project choose to extend their reach in other places so that our men can have their own forum for discussing these and other issues that affect them. @bles

  • We have a Meetup in CA with similar goals and objectives, The California Men's Gatherings. - "Since 1978, our organization has been a place where all men – gay, bi, transgender and straight, from 18-80+ can find a different way to connect – a little more openly… a little more honestly… and with a little less fear… with some truly unique and supportive men."

  • Awesome 😎!!! Happy that groups like this exist, so men can bond in healthy, masculine and accepting ways!!! Thank you for sharing.

  • Interesting. This can be a new form of therapy, at least into the mainstream, and in some cases can save lives. RIght on brother @PeopleLikeUs Thanks for sharing @babestorm

I don’t know about this. Maybe for some men it’s good. Most men out there want to cuddle with women. This has some vibes of the two previous forum posts about straight men cuddling other men. Those discussions were closed because they really got members going in the comment section. I think this Phili cuddling group is good nonetheless for men out there that seek such a group.

1 Stop projecting. No one said you or any other man has to cuddle men.

2 So far no one has derailed this thread with this topic until you.

3 Obviously this works for some men if the group exists. It does not add to this conversation for you to state the obvious.
