Hello Everyone!

Been meaning to say hi to everyone πŸ˜€ I joined over the weekend. Very excited to learn about the joys of cuddling. Sounds like it could be exactly what I need at this point in my life. I love making new friends too!

Any advice for a newbie? πŸ˜€

You have a great profile so the only advice I have is to have patience. There are two types of cuddlers. Enthusiasts and Professional. Enthusiasts are those you can meet up and cuddle for free and professionals are ones you book for a certain price per hour to cuddle.

The reason why I say have patience is because sometimes if you’re just looking for an enthusiast, it can take a while. But until you find one to meet and snuggle with, enjoy the forums and talk to people! Enjoy connecting!

  • Thanks so much @Sheena123 ! Yea I figured it's about patience. Getting to know people, finding the right cuddle partner. I'm so curious about cuddling I just want to get that first one, you know what I mean? Haha

@JasonCuddles I'm from Canada too. Born and raised in Toronto 😎 moved to NYC almost a year ago

  • Traitor! 😜 Just kidding. Welcome, @nc1984

  • Hi... excited to get to know new people and cuddle. I'm fun, outgoing, and funny. Love company.

  • @Unique_Beauty17 welcome and nice to meet you. I can't tell if that thing on the floor is a bellow, a ukelele, or a purse. Please tell me you play the ukelele :)

  • Looks like a run of the mill pulley to me.

  • Hey @nc1984, welcome. How has your experience been so far living in NYC as opposed to Tdot. lol. I heard some people call it that. How’s the weather?

Cuddling with the right person can be amazing. Relaxing, and make you feel like you are on cloud 9. Even a few minutes of hand holding can make one feel so rejuvenated/relaxed. Some of us call holding hands "mini hugs". Or hugs that are more versatile and (generally speaking) comfortable to do for a longer period of time. There are plethora of other benefits of cuddling. πŸ™‚

  • Haha @Catloaf

    Welcome, @Unique_Beauty17 !

@Lovelight haha wow you said tdot. Very good. You did your homework haha I would have thought you were from Toronto if you didn't add in that you heard people call it tdot lol
My experience with NYC has been great other than the past 2 months when I've been dealing with marital problems + apparent break-up. I lived my whole life in Toronto. It's widely known as a pretty big, busy city. So before moving here I figured it would be largely the same. It's totally not haha NYC is so much bigger and busier. It makes Toronto seem so slow and quiet and small.
I honestly really need me some cloud 9 right now. I'm so exhausted mentally, so confused and shocked by what's happened in the past 2 months. I need to recharge really badly. I'm making some pretty good new friends in the city who are helping me thru this too but the closeness, empathy, and nurturing that seems to come from cuddling sounds like exactly what I need. Not really sure why I'm telling you all this haha

@nc1984 I seem to have that effect on people. lol. We all pretty much go through it one way or another. Sometimes it's good to vent too.

It can be quite tough, though I believe that you will make it through. How I think of it is that most of it is fuelled by those pesky feelings. Once you implement healthy ways that can help, and they run their course: it'll get better!

Edit: They are also evolution/nature's way to basically keep/make it difficult for us to say goodbye. end of edit.

Hopefully, with some patience you'll meet someone. It's good that you've supportive friends!

Interesting. I am not sure if it's somewhere I want to visit. Though, if I go to the US someday, I feel I might as well visit it. I am a bit curious what it's like. I once visited Richmond Hill here it was quite the experience. Not sure if it was the quietest day. Or it's their usual. Probably the latter. Though, it was hella quiet and I barely saw people walking outside: it was as though, they pretty much get around corners by cars. I enjoyed that it was so quiet, and might visit once or twice more.

  • Haha @FunCartel you're absolutely right lol and thank you everyone

  • I just had my first cuddle session with a pro! It was magical and just what I needed 😊 definitely be going back!
