@DonLonG: It's not so much a physical thing as a "let women handle the misbehavior of a woman" thing—though I guess physical backup's good to have too.
And that way they could deal with any crying, and see you get your stuff back.
I am very transparent in my feedback to the persons I cuddle with. And I believe it's a good way to honor one's humanity. If I cuddle with you and there are issues around how you communicate or interact with me I'm letting you know about it. And as such I will Accord karmas accordingly.
I don't pay any attention to it. I haven't been on here a really long time and I have yet to meet anyone in person from the site. So, I haven't really been able to build the karma points myself. It doesn't make sense to me to rate other people by some measure that I haven't been able to build up myself.
@DonLonG I am very sorry that happened. It is always disappointing when people violate consent and don't respect our no. It can make us lose faith in other people. I hope you are doing well and have support after that kind of encounter.
Karma is the icing on the cake when it's there and good. When a lot is there and it's bad especially if there are other issues I notice: then I'll take steps back to say the least. Though, if people are leaving such terrible reviews to begin with then likely that person will also be reported and dealt with.
As for from who do I trust more, non-pros.
Though, half the time I don't even remember to leave them til something like this reminds me. Or someone leaves me one and I get notified.
Oh. And I've no interest to contact who the person cuddled with. Unless I am interested in being friendly, or possibly cuddling with them too.
@RTL1970 I think the numbers/stars should stay. They allow people to be more comfortable giving an honest feedback while not being so personal. Whereas with words, it can be trickier to not only find the right words to describe why a 3.5 as opposed to 4-4.5, etc. Though to also feel comfortable sharing that. So the numbers help others to know that whatever the area was, there seems to be an area that could've used improvement.
@Lovelight The problem with the stars is you see either 5 stars or 1 star 99% of the time. Five stars is by far the most popular because there is no fear of anything bad. One star tends to be those who never met and the person gave no warning and ghosted. The stars do not provide honest criticism.
@DonLonG Excuse me but holy shit! So sorry. On both accounts.
Appreciate your sharing. Thank you.
FYI for anyone still following this -- I tripped over it in the FAQ somewhere.
Sometimes people (particularly professionals) can feel pressure to leave positive karma in order to receive good karma in return, even if the other person acted inappropriately. There are plans to modify the karma system to address this issue.
I mean, there's really only 2 options in my opinion. A person has 2 arms and can cuddle, 5 stars. A person has 2 arms and could cuddle, but tries to push the boundries set by the site, report.
I suppose if you go to professionals, you might want to go a bit deeper into it. Or maybe knock off a star if you eventually get to cuddle but it's hard to set up a meeting, or your cuddle buddy shows up late.
