tell me if im wrong IF A MAN HAS E. D ERECTILE DYSFUNCTION wouldn't that person be a great client

i would think thats a no brainier . because in real life the women that dont understand the truth and therapeutic value of cuddling assume its sexual . when its not . the human touch is better than just venting to a counselor and basically take 2 aspirins for your stress and call on us next week sit on the couch again week by week. with no hugs no embrace no touch . what i cannot feel externally i can feel internally HOW DO WOMEN RESPOND TO THIS STATEMENT WHICH IS TRUE FOR ME .

  • I didnt know this was a forum....interesting

  • No need for all caps. Why are you shouting ?
I don't think you should talk about your sexual impotence with a prospective cuddler friend.

  • How unusual.

  • :# Where do I begin...

  • Just when you think forum topics couldn't get more weird

    You're wrong.

Having an ever-limp trouser snake does remove certain potentially uncomfortable factors from the cuddling, but that doesn't mean you're automatically a great cuddle. A great cuddle requires good communication, mutual trust, mutual understanding and a good idea of what you're after.

Based on your open ended rant where you're expecting constructive criticism to be the norm rather than people asking "what?" or "huh?" I'd suggest you work on your communication, as well as your understanding of how this site functions/how to communicate properly online (as I'm assuming with your age and the fact you're announcing to the world your peepee doesn't work you lack that understanding). Maybe take a step back, reconsider what you're trying to say and get back to us when you've collected your thoughts on the matter?

    Something I’ve thought of:

Being impotent doesn’t guarantee safety. Andrei Chikatilo, also known as the Rostov Ripper, dealt with his erectile disfunction by way of serial murder and eating his victim’s genitals. Also: you can still slam someone with a floppy.

Having ED doesn’t make a person a better client. It doesn’t make them a worse one. It just means that your pork sword is wobbly.

  • It’s a sad day for the Pope when the bishop won’t stand at attention.

  • In a platonic cuddle session the persons private parts ( male or female) should not be a factor. However I have been In cuddle situations where I got more excited then I should have ;) what’s usually done in those situations is a change in position, putting a pillow in between the two of you or stopping and taking a break. To answer the question I don’t think having ED makes anyone a great cuddle buddy the same way having a working bigger then average joystick makes you a bad cuddle buddy. Right ?

  • @teddybear452 I think your comment shows vulnerability even though it's expressed a little awkwardly. I know what you're saying and sharing on these forums opens peeps up to such potential ridicule. I think it's irrelevant honestly as none of us rule-following sorts is expecting to have much interaction with what you have in your pants. Hope you find some healing cuddles.

  • @littermate I think you need to read closely. It is very odd that he feels compelled to inform prospective cuddling partners that he has ED on a PLATONIC site. The title says it all. There are so many fallacies to his assertion as people have pointed out and he is beginning from a place of not understanding what the word platonic means.

No because most sexually inappropriate behavior from men towards women is through use of hands and lips, not through simply having an erection

  • @FunCartel I think in his awkward way he's saying, hey women, at least one of your fears can be allayed if you cuddle with me. Yes, odd, yes fallacies, yes misunderstanding, but my sense is, people learn better when they are heard and questioned than leapt on with everyone's favorite clever quip. I know there's a ton of good intention here - I just sense that some of these fellows that might need a bit of education would be better brought along with kindness and patience than being made fun of mercilessly. I like to assume that at least a portion of the funny stuff coming from men is actually ignorance and awkwardness versus nasty bad-man-ness.

  • @littermate But the entire premise is wrong. As @pmvines just said, the erection is only a by-product if the original intent. Trust me, this is a typical masculine ploy.

To use an analogy, it is similar to Bruce Lee telling someone he is unarmed then killing that person instantly with his bare hands.

  • As a fellow ED person I'm following this

  • @FunCartel maybe, and I get the premise issue, etc. And maybe we're hearing from someone who has never told anyone he has ED before and he's combining that vulnerability with an awkward reach to people in his own way. And here he's met with everyone's clever phrases for something he may be actually deeply suffering with. I'm picking up loneliness, not intent to get away with something. And I bow to your greater experience as a man and have no need to be righty-righty sassypants. I just see on this site peeps being more vulnerable than they might get to be anywhere else and then from time to time becoming the soccer ball in a game of who can be more clever at their expense.

@littermate He May be lonely but ED does not cause loneliness as far as I know. I do not have ED but I work with a couple of guys that do and they are constantly talking about the best meds because they still want to get some constantly and they are always on the prowl.

There is an industry conference I go to every year and a lot of older dudes go there and they all bring their meds dance with the women at the show then they pile into their vehicles and head to the strip clubs. I know each of them very well. They are all extroverts and far from lonely in their everyday life. Me I hang back and cuddle with a couple of CC ladies. But I have to stay sober as I am a co-presenter and emcee for the conference.

  • OK @FunCartel . He may be on the prowl, he may be an awkward guy looking for some contact. Bowing. <3

@littermate I am not saying definitively he is on the prowl, but darned if tons of men aren’t. All I am saying is ED is not usually a causational factor for a lot of the suppositions he put forward or for loneliness.

  • We're on the same page there @FunCartel .

  • @FunCartel not everyone responds to the medicines and for some people they are actually happy because it is a sort of liberation from needing sex though body to body contact is also missed.

  • @notcuddledyet There are exceptions to every rule.

  • @FunCartel there are a great deal of men who can't just pop a pill and everything works again

  • @notcuddledyet Let me repeat—I know meds don’t work for everyone. You are missing the point. The meds are irrelevant. The exception to the rule is you feeling sexually liberated because you do not even think about sex because of ED. The majority of men who have ED still have a strong sex drive even if the plumbing does not work. It goes back to the old saying that the brain is the primary sex organ fueled by a great deal of chemistry. So you seem to be an exception because most guys do not lose interest despite the equipment not working.

  • @FunCartel I still think about it. If I see an attractive woman I still think the thoughts but I feel liberated from needing to seek out sexual encounters

  • @notcuddledyet Ok that clarifies things.

  • After reading the original post and viewing the poster's profile and age, I'd side with @littermate, who expressed it well in my opinion regarding the probable feelings and intent of the original poster.

  • No, but if you were to eliminate the E.D., maybe. Eliminating the underlying causes (the biggest of which might be Atherosclerosis) may open the way for better psychological interactions and thus make a person a "great client" or better suited to attract cuddlers. I also wonder if there might be a cycle with the release of oxytocin (and add dopamine to the mix) that may act to lift a person out of depression for a while and thus allow for greater cognition in and out of therapy. You've already mentioned stress which can be a factor with E.D.

  • @PeopleLikeUs for some people it is a gift that removes the need to seek sexual contact
