Which relationship status would you prefer for pro cuddler?
I would prefer "Not in a romantic/sexual relationship with anybody who'll be upset with me for cuddling their partner."
That's my favorite relationship status for anyone I cuddle.
@DarrenWalker I'd assume that they wouldn't do it if the partner got upset
@notcuddledyet: Well, you'd think so. But there are some interesting people out there.
But if there's no chance you'll get yelled at (or beat up) by the pro's partner, why would it matter what their relationship status is? You're cuddling with them, not their spouse... right? Like with kids, there are arrangements a pro'll be making to be sure your cuddle with them doesn't get interrupted.
@DarrenWalker +1 for your answer
What about: “sexually involved with someone that should NOT be upset discovering my cuddle activity/ but in all honestly probably will because they are insecure/ so let’s not invite them ok”
@DarrenWalker and @BashfulLoner Hahahaha I vote for your answers 😂😂😂😂 @notcuddledyet some peoole cuddle without their spouse knowing for many reasons jealousy, to avoid arguments for lack of understanding, people open up about needing more comfort and affection or spending time and their spouse is too stubborn or set in their ways to change but a divorce isn't what's wanted/the best option, etc. My husband just doesn't care 😂. And he knows I cuddle.
Come to think about it, I like people in all relationship statuses because they all are in need for some nurturing and comfort.
Here’s another that might fit: “single or attached, platonically motivated and sexually inclined if you are, wink wink”
I judge my experience based on so many different factors. Relationship status is not one of them.
@pmvines + 1
@pmvines. I agree! Me too!
It MIGHT matter if the Pro was hosting at her home. Otherwise not relevant
I would prefer .. has , or wants children . There’s something about the mother nurturing effect , which , Probably makes the married / in a relashionship my choice .
I’ll give the answer that it seems single men aren’t allowed to give, based on similar discussions I’ve read: sorry, but, there’s just something that’s a bit off about women (especially if they’re married) who are in a relationship with a man who are here cuddling with other men. Even if he supposedly knows about it. I avoid them like so many plagues. Possibly off-topic, but, if you’re in a relationship with someone who isn’t giving you the physical affection and attention that led you to register at this site in the first place, MAYBE you shouldn’t be in a relationship with someone who apparently doesn’t mind or even care you’re getting it from someone else whether it’s for money or for free.
@RTL1970 Not everyone can just up and end a relationship. they may love the other person but it lacks intimacy. There may be children to consider and sometimes and also some people just do not want their whole life disrupted.
I absolutely love doing for a job even though I am married. I asked him what his thoughts were and he was all for it. Him and I cuddle all the time. He is always my number one priority and he knows I love this job. I’m not 100% sure why some people would feel off about the idea of the husband supporting the cuddling when it’s a career. I understand that it would seem off if it’s just an enthusiast and the spouse doesn’t care to give the affection the enthusiast needs. There are so many reasons out there but for mine, there shouldn’t be an awkward feeling knowing a professional cuddler is married, as long as the professional and their spouse have talked it over and communicated to make the situation comfortable for both parties.
Sheena123, you have the best attitude and approach as always.
I don't mind. The only pro I've cuddled was Jasmina from 'My Touch Therapy by Jasmina' and she's happily married, with a husband who totally accepts her cuddling and massage business. I'm more cautious with married/partnered enthusiasts though, and I think it's generally best to meet the partner and make sure they're okay with it before moving forward.
@JCat thank you 😸😸
It's up to two adults what works for them and what doesn't, to communicate and navigate the differences if there are any, or decide that cuddling isn't in the cards. Cuddling isn't dating, romance isn't/shouldn't be the intention, and a pro's relationship status isn't any of my business. If they do have a partner/husband/girlfriend/wife, I'm not going to second-guess if they partner approves of their cuddle sessions - or not. I'm not setting up a reciprocal therapist or counselor session.
For me, it comes down to:
1) are we mutually interested in a cuddle, 2) can we agree on a location, 3) what day/time works for you.
@Sheena123 I would prefer a married woman. I like the thought that she is cuddling on a regular basis
@notcuddledyet practise makes perfect lol
Happy And at peace with oneself and others. That's my favorite relationship status. Whether you're single, married or other. That's my most favoured relationship status.
All it can really boil down to is "different strokes for different folks". I am a married pro and while it makes me a bit sad that some can't see past a cuddler's marital status (especially when it comes to pros), I realise it boils down to preference and their right to choose. Something comes to mind when I read the somewhat passive responses whenever this topic is brought up though. It seems many misunderstand and still come to this site marrying cuddling with a relationship/sex. They might not say it, but that's what's implied anyway. That's exactly what we're not trying to do here.
