@ubergigglefritz Please tell me in more detail for my edification what you are referring to because I do not get notifications about threads.
I would like to see a spot in my profile for a Cuddle Totem, just a simple picture or badge that can be earned and upgraded to encourage investment to this site.
A badge system would be cute. 😁
@FunCartel it's a notification setting. I usually want it, hut some threads I don't 😜 It shouldn't be an all or nothing thing...
What about something like what Facebook or other sites do where a response is e-mailed to you?? I like looking at responses to my posts much of the time and a system for seeing what others are saying to me and others would be helpful.
I said it before, and I will say it again. They should Purge old accounts that are inactive. If an account has not been logged into in one year and one day delete the account.
@phenon_xm How would this help in any way? When you search, results are ordered by time of last login, and you can easily filter to see only people who were online within the last month or within the last week. So if you don't want to see people who weren't online recently, you can easily do that already.
See the recent Vaping thread for a suggested edit to the Smoking dropdown to include vaping.
@DonLonG ,,, Yes quite imaginative!! May I steal or augment your suggestions?
For those whole have no commentary in their about .. how bout a “ zipper” icon be displayed ? To show that they just don’t say anything . Or maybe an closed book picture
Hasn’t login in for a while let’s see , .. One week ? Perhaps a forest fire is displayed , or perhaps a sawmill .
For no messages sent to anyone .. perhaps an ice cube is appropriate. They are cold as ice .( although, for those who get a mailbox full of messages , they might think something else)
For no stars or feedback ... can a diaper be shown ? Something that shows your infancy in the website . Or a baby’s rattle
And At last . For the celebration of staying for one year , withstanding all the abuse of the forum bullies , can a rock be displayed ? You are as hard as a rock .
Ps .. for the banned and reinstated , a hammer , or hammers , depending on how many times you were hit with the ban hammer . You earned five hammers ? You get a hard hat .
Please make it so that when you block someone it extends to the forums as well. Would make the forums a better place for all
@DonLonG That's crossed my mind on occasion. But reading your post has led me to create a research note in our roadmap so that we give it proper consideration at some point in the future. Thanks.
@littermate Noted.
Thanks @Mark
After seeing 49 pages of ways the site can be improved..... I feel an overwhelming desire to say THANK YOU to @Mark and all of the moderators/people who have worked on this site for us!!! (worked for a really long time!!!)
@sillysassy I second that!!
Third!
I think there should be a way to put a mark of some kind on one's profile that will not reply back, then after say 3-5 no reply backs, then drop them off the site. That way others could see that and not waste there time in sending them a message. I think a Pro should be banned after 2-3, after all they are putting there self out as a business and how can you run any kind of business and NOT reply back to a customer. ??? I have blocked many that will not reply back !!!, I can understand if maybe I'm to old, to short, to heavy-etc., but it would very easy to just reply back "No Thanks", or maybe have a TAG you could click, for " sorry I feel we are not a match"
@waynewv I love your business perspective of it. However, there are a few things to consider.
After perusing through the past forum discussions, I have the sense that for most pro's, this isn't their main source of income. Seems more like supplemental, so I don't think it would "put them out of business". I have seen a lot of discussion here how the fee is used more as a filter because of all the attention they get, and also to compensate for not only their time but the extra risk they are put into by allowing themselves to be vulnerable with a complete stranger.
"Pro's should be banned after 2-3 no replies" that could be a little excessive. I saw a screenshot of a pro who logged in to find 104 new messages in the inbox. Like I stated before, I don't think this is an 8 hour day for most of them. We don't know what their day is like or how much free time they have to respond to every request.
I like to think of this as a job interview, you shouldn't submit just one resume and wait for a response. I have had lots of companies not respond back to me. You should be engaging multiple possibilities, and keep at it. I just interviewed last Friday with a company that finally called me after I submitted my resume for the third time in 5 months.
There is a local woman here who was brand new and did not respond initially, but did 2 weeks later when I messaged again. She said she responded back because my message was the "most normal" one she had received. She sent me a screenshot of her messages, and if you think no response is bad, you should see what some of the men sent to her as an introductory message. WOW!
@sillysassy @snuggleme123 @littermate Thank you, sincerely a pleasure!
OK, rather than read through this whole thing, I'm going to say that there's a little hole in one's ability to manage messages. I like to remember the people by what we've said to each other, but I can't save their messages to a folder, and then my inbox gets cluttered up with messages from the past from peeps I have no interest necessarily in following up with, but if I delete their message thread, then when they message me again, I don't have that history there to remember what's transpired in the past. I'd love at least one folder, and up from there would be a series of folders hardwired like, friends, neutral, not responded to yet, and no way. Up from there would be the capacity to name one's own folders, even if there's only an allotment of 5 or something. I don't want to block everyone that I've corresponded with in the past and ruled out, but I also don't want to a) have my inbox cluttered with a lot of historical messages or b) delete all the messages and have no history to refer to.
Yah? @Mark
OK, my latest - discourage bonding much?
I'm having fun messaging the folks who have responded to my forum post privately and now I'm cut off. Didn't know I could only be soooo social. Eep!
Explain?
Please wait 24 hours before contacting any more people. You can still talk within existing conversations. New accounts have their recipient limit increase over several weeks.
Because it keeps down on the sex workers coming here. You are engaging in hooker-like behavior. I am guessing that this is why because they there are a lot of ladies that come on here with non-pro accounts and go crazy messaging guys with messages like “I am down for a lot of fun. Please cuddle me.” They are usually banned within 48 hours.
Chuckling over here.
"You are engaging in hooker-like behavior."
I believe this is the first time in at least this life that I have been so accused.
@littermate I am not saying you are a hooker, but that is the pattern that the ladies of the night use when drumming up business.
I know @FunCartel. I was having fun.
A female friend of my mother's, of a certain age, was waiting in the street one evening, when a shy young man approached her, and asked, "How much ?" She reports that she was so flattered, that she almost took him up on the offer.
@littermate As I understand it, you'd like the ability to move conversations into folders. This is actually something that has been requested before and is a research note in our roadmap.
As it's not something I see as having widespread demand, it is currently in the lower levels of priority. But I like the idea and hope it will be done. I will update the note in the roadmap with your post as I think it's interesting that a non-Pro has expressed a desire for this.
I would like it if the booking function also included a place. I've had a cuddle fall through because of a misunderstanding about location.
The booking panel is very intentionally minimal for usability reasons. But I do understand where you're coming from.
Thanks Mark.
