  • @Mark I think removing the words, "work out the cancellation fee with your cuddler". should be removed from the cancellation button link. I've had a couple of times that the "pro" requested to reschedule so I had to go and cancel on the website to get it off the calendar. The warning that it is 12 hours prior to the scheduled session should apply to both parties and not just the client IMO. I had a "pro" cancel and request to reschedule day off for the next day with no reason given. Hopefully she's making enough money with her regular job that she can afford to skirt her responsibilities to us. :(

people get taken off the site for inappropriate behaviour and just create a new profile again and again

  • @butterflypanda
I think it's much harder for someone to set up a new pro account after being banned, because they have to give more identification.

  • It should be easier to report people who are on here for non-platonic reasons. I had a guy approach me about a rather popular professional cuddler on here asking me a bunch of questions. After he had a video chat with her, he said that she kept things professional but he could probably convince her to put on a show. I reported him to both this site and to the professional cuddler. His profile is still active. It's people like him that make it harder for people like me to get human contact from this site, yet here he remains.

  • @DomLarkin
That sounds like a guy in a pub, drinking with his mates, saying to them, of the barmaid, "I could have her if I wanted". ๐Ÿ˜•

  • @DomLarkin I donโ€™t think itโ€™s a good idea to start banning people on second hand accounts or here-say. If he said or did anything inappropriate that info should come directly from the offended party themselves.

  • @DomLarkin thank you for trying to help clean up โ˜บ๏ธ Even if it comes up empty, we need to keep trying! Itโ€™s nice to know there are others that want to keep our community platonic and friendly ๐Ÿ˜ƒ

@sheena123 I was banned wrongfully for using a word that started with f and ends with h. Obviously I got reinstated on appeal.

  • @CrossFitNLattes welcome back to the community again lol!

On another note, maybe I donโ€™t swear enough But without saying the word, Iโ€™m trying so hard to figure out what that word was. Starts with F, ends in H. Oh well maybe it will hit me later ๐Ÿ™ƒ

  • @Sheena123 - I can't figure it out either. Now I'm gonna be thinking about it for the rest of the day. :(

  • Furlough? That's the first word I could come up with. ๐Ÿ˜† Maybe that will jog someone else's memory for it...

I think there's a clue in his profile. My guess is fetish?

  • @MissX ah, yes, pros can sometimes be overly sensitive to fetishes, and people can too easily get banned for it. A fetish doesn't necessarily imply it's about sex.

  • edited August 2020

@ubergigglefritz - There was an article about a woman who was paid $100,000 per month to act like a dog. That is fetishism taken to a whole new level.

  • [Deleted User]MissX (deleted user)

@ubergigglefritz Agreed. Not judging just trying to solve the Monday morning puzzle, lol.

  • @MissX Yes. Thanks. I was sure it was right there in front of us. ๐Ÿ˜†

  • @Mike403 Everyone spends their money in different ways. ๐Ÿ˜† If I had endless funds, I would definitely have a personal chef!

  • @ubergigglefritz - It's not as much about the money as it is about the odd request...and people think platonic cuddling is weird. :/

  • I know people with all different kinds of kinks, ha. So I guess I don't judge for it or find it all that odd. But that is a LOT of money. ๐Ÿ˜†

  • @Mark
Would it help to have a "looking for" status ; so people who are only looking for pros, wouldn't get meet-up messages from non-pros, and vice versa ?

A lot of men on the site say they are only looking for non-pro females ; and allowing the pro females to filter their searches, could save a lot of effort on both sides.

I know these two things are probably requested all the time and just not possible yet, but...

A cuddle comfort mobile app with direct messages would be like heaven

It would also be amazing if you there was the ability and option to take client payment through the website, and potentially act as a source of moderation in cases of payment discrepancies like last minute cancellation or no shows. ( I canโ€™t imagine what it would be like to be paid a percentage of even some of my no-shows. It would also help me to feel a lot safer to not deal with that much cash when meeting someone new from online. And I imagine it would help bring unreported & off-site sessions back, making sure you guys ( CC ) got your fee for every pro session )๐Ÿคท๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธ

  • @saramajara Agree on the payments request. I won't confirm a session until I get a deposit and it adds a whole additional step to get their external email to send the invoice to. Of course, implementing payments on this site would probably encourage more pros to take deposits or payments in advance, and unless this site is going to start taking it a LOT more seriously only selecting legitimate people for pro status, I don't like that idea at all (I only started requiring deposits after doing this for over 1.5 years and because of my current expenses required to commit to a session). There are already way too many scammers, and with so many areas still having no good professional, I don't blame some people for eventually giving in, paying, and then possibly getting screwed. ๐Ÿ˜ž I think if they were to implement payments on this site, which is to protect the site and the pros, they need to counter that with added effort to also better protect the client. Any ideas on what they could do to also protect the client?

  • @saramajara
How about clients being able to pay the site fee percentage to the site, acting as an identified deposit, and getting that back if they get scammed / no-show ?

  • [Deleted User]SoulcuddlerZ (deleted user)

@saramajara it would be possible to alter the site to collect payments on behalf of pros, but that would also carry increased financial risk to the site. I'm not sure how @Mark is looking at this aspect. But surely there are questions of whether it's worth it and would pro fees be increased as a result of taking on more risk.

  • @SoulcuddlerZ I've seen some pros that purposely cancel the cuddlers request on the site in order to pocket all the cash for themselves. Like any occupation, there are inherent risks to how money exchanges hands.

  • [Deleted User]SoulcuddlerZ (deleted user)

@CrossFitNLattes agreed. Those very pros tend to put themselves at increased risk too. An increasing occurence I've seen are individuals banned for non-platonic behavior citing that the pro in question was breaking the rules - and that's just citing one example scenario.

  • @SoulcuddlerZ not sure if you've seen her yet but really $150/week for a texting buddy https://www.cuddlecomfort.com/VictoriaSecret there has to be a rule against extortion

  • @CrossFitNLattes - I'm a lonely guy, but I'm not that desperate.

Delete "only", and he is still right.

If people are just texting, the location doesn't matter, so clients can choose the cheapest one they want ; and if there are plenty who are cheaper, then it isn't extortion. We could suspect that the higher rate means some kind of "special service", but maybe they just have better wording.

  • @geoff1000 - I can text myself "Good morning" for free.
