Public Cuddles

Something I don't see talked about often.. though it's a marked option out there.

What is your views on public cuddling? Do you just consider it getting together and getting familiar and comfortable with someone new in a public setting first? Do you get together with friends may have made in the cuddling community and chit chat and catch up? Some other cuddle sites I have explored have an idea of having a platonic date with someone. Like a day of adventure that you don't want to do alone.. like a day at a beach or go out to the movies, just not wanting go it alone.

Thoughts?

  • @PurpleFairy90 - Public cuddles are just as nice whether at a park or watching a movie at the cinema. It also helps with building trust in someone without worrying about if they are gonna push boundaries. My first cuddle with a pro was at a public park and I still enjoyed it a lot.

  • @PurpleFairy90
I think of going to the movies, or a theme park, or lunch / dinner, or a slow walk in the park, or ice skating ; with some physical contact if both parties want that. Kinda like a date, if the parties were 15 and their parents were watching.

I've had several public cuddles, at parks, the beach, movies and once even attended a wedding with a client which was interesting. However, boundaries can still be pushed. My very first cuddle was on a local beach in the evening. That cuddler was extremely aggressive trying to kiss me all over and very strong as well. I later heard from another source that he attempted to rape another pro who had the bad luck to agree to a car cuddle. She managed to escape and he was of course banned but it is a lesson to always keep your guard up when meeting people for cuddles regardless of the venue.

  • @MissX - Do you know if the police involved when he sexually assaulted that other pro? It's a serious crime.

@Mike403 I don't think she reported it as far as I know. She gave up cuddling after that experience and never heard more from her after that.

  • @MissX :'( She should have to hopefully stop other women from going through that experience. People like that need to be removed from society and not just this website.

  • @MissX I really hate that happened to you and the other pro . I.have heard other things from women about similar situations. Unfortunately banning the person doesn't stop the behavior as they will only continue with other women, and banning them only means that account is banned. They can simply open another account under another name . If that ever happens again to you or anybody else, I do hope a police rep or t is made

@Mike403 @pmvines Agreed. Yes, it's unfortunate how easy it is for the bad actors to return.

I've done hikes/picnic day stuff with many clients, then typically have dinner and overnight after.

So I guess a little bit of public and staying in 😂

I personally would not do car cuddles and never have. It's just too easy for someone to just be like oh "child-lock on" and just start driving. Like byeeee.

I work in PI so I've seen some dumb things happen.

Places like the movies or public parks doesn't ensure 💯 safety, but it does help keep those boundaries clear. A good movie cuddle day can be very enjoyable.

  • @MissAdventurous - Yes, I would think a sexual assault would be less likely to happen when there are other witnesses around and it will be easier to get up and leave if the guy is pushing boundaries.

It goes beyond "sexual" in what a bad experience with a stranger can do to ANYONE. It's the ambiguous nature of trying to see the best in someone and then, as a result, are taken advantage of.

Kidnapping doesn't always equate to rape.
Ambiguity doesn't always equate to violence.

Liars, manipulators, stalkers.... The list goes on on bad apples I've had here, including some pros that no longer are on this site for good reason. But I move forward as every day is a new day, these types exist anywhere.

These things happen regardless of who's around unfortunately, broad daylight in a park doesn't equate to safety.

I have faith in the human race, but being aware is very much a staple of my entire existence, since I was a young girl, and it's not going to change now, as I understand more than most who try to tell me what my safety tips in society should be here, I think any female would agree on that point... Just a general statement, nothing more meant.😂😂

As a synopsis, Be the kind of person you would like to meet, and happy cuddles. The good always outweighs the negative and I have created wonderful connections all over the cuddle world. Be it in a park or somewhere else.

💞💐 Off to garden, enjoy the sunshine and get my canning stuff out. 😜

I think there are a couple different concepts here. One is going on a platonic date, which can obviously be a lot of fun. I've done this with people from this site. I understand some pros offer this as a paid service, but I personally would not pay for this.

Then there's actually cuddling in public. Of course this can be nice, but to me it is inevitably much less intimate than cuddling in private. Again, I personally would not pay for this.

  • One of the best cuddles I've ever had was for 3 hours in the back of her car. We had a second cuddle in a park parking lot where she explained to me how she lived in this park, raised her kids here before she got her own place. I've never socialized in groups with cuddlers but I can see a platonic site made up of daters that are tactile. I think it's a great idea because divorces happen over lack of touch. I had an amazing separation once with a very tactile lover who insisted on remaining in touch (literally) leading up to, throughout and after our separation. This is where I think the tactile community varies from the mainstream. The possibilities are endless.

  • The majority of my cuddles would be considered public cuddles since I use my co-working space that I pay rent for as my home base. It isn't very busy there in the late evening and on most afternoons and evenings on the weekends. I've had a number of sessions there tbh

  • The problem with reporting incidents to the police, is that the justice system is only interested when the evidence is likely to be strong enough to convince a jury "beyond reasonable doubt" ; so if one person says something happened, and another person says a different thing happened, there isn't much point.

If it were otherwise, people could too easily be either falsely convicted, or blackmailed with that threat.

  • Ive went on a platonic date with quite a few cuddlers. They all have turned out really great! Its usually a dinner and movie. Or a picnic in the park! :) I could definitely see why some wouldn't want to tho. I always try my best to pre screen before meeting someone.

  • @geoff1000 - Rape or attempted rape NEEDS to be brought to the attention of the police. It's a serious crime and women shouldn't be afraid to report it. I'm not saying we should throw every guy who is accused in prison and throw away the key because some women falsely accuse, but it needs to be reported.

  • @Mike403
If they report it, they have to relive it, perhaps several times ; and some victims have said it is like being assaulted multiple times, compounding the emotional harm. I don't want to make it an obligation, to force that burden on anyone.

We might equally say that a man who is being physically assaulted NEEDS to fight back, even if they are likely to be more seriously harmed, so that perpetrators think more carefully the next time.

  • I found this post useful. I did suggest a public cuddle in a park, to someone local a month ago. She was not particularly comfortable with the idea, and seemed to prefer a meet at my place.

I liked the idea of public at the time, due to the good summer weather, it being a public place for first meet, and thought it was safer to be in the fresh air, with the Covid situation.

Still she was not comfortable. I did suggest a hotel for first meet, just to see how things went. But it seems she was determined for my place only. She deleted her profile later on.

  • @alexb2
That sounds a bit suspicious, so it was probably for the best that it didn't happen.

Public cuddling is something I may eventually try with an enthusiast. I witnessed a couple doing this on a public bus on 8/7/2015.

  • @alexb2 Sounds like she was angling to see if you were married or not. But anyone who is unwilling to meet at a coffeehouse or public place before the cuddle session is beginning the cuddle relationship on a sketchy note.

  • 2 out of 3 of my 1st cuddles with someone were at movies. Both worked out quite nicely And both gave me more information about the person that helped me think about future cuddles with them. I also had a nice tea and walk with a young fellow who was new to cuddling. I almost went mountain bike riding with another fellow as a way to get to know each other but it ended up not working out. I am very open to getting to know people this way as I have the time and inclination especially because I'm not cuddling due to covid.

  • I like public cuddling. I usually go out for coffee or a meal. It allows me and my cuddle buddy to chat and get to know each other and then after a while we end up sitting together with arms around each other. Lovely :)

@fegonia I had a new pro ask me how much she should charge for the public cuddle. She found out the going rate for in person cuddles in a private residence is $100/hr according to this website and is sticking with that price. As a client, I want to value her time but I'm also not going to tell her what her pricing should be.

  • @CrossFitNLattes, I'm not sure why you tagged me? I'm not a pro or seeking pro cuddles.

  • @fegonia
That was probably an assumption, there being so few female non-pro cuddlers on the site ; or maybe it was some subtle career advice. 😊
