Came on to this site thinking people needed each other to hold on to, and find out that even a hug, and company cost money. Makes me even sadder.
Some of us only charge time, effort, sincerity, etc.
It's not always monetarily transactional, and there's no line of credit.
But to stay within the theme... Sometimes one may need to make a lot of deposits before expecting to make any withdrawals... and even then it may only be the interest accrued that's available to spend against.
@robertbickford I see your upper age limit is 50, which is 7 years less than your own age. That means you think : a 51 year old woman is too old for you, but women aged 40 to 50 should not think a 57 year old man is too old for them.
We are all entitled to our preferences, but we must recognise that they limit our opportunities.
It does suck. And it can feel exploitative.
But there is a bright side, and despite my occasional negativity on this forum it is possible to look at it optimistically. Instead of thinking you have to pay money for cuddles and company, think of it as you can pay money for cuddles and company. It's just an extra option.
If you're like most men, you've probably lived your life finding it a pain in the ass to meet women. A lot of rejection, a lot of in-between time when you don't have anyone, etc. Well, now here's an alternative: just pay someone and she'll show up at your door. No rejection, no trying to figure out what's the right thing to say to get her to like you, nothing like that.
(Of course it's not perfect, as a lot of pros are flaky or weird, but it's still a lot easier than trying to meet women normally.)
