HEY cuddlers and cuddlest.
I want to get your perspective before I consider to be a professional cuddlier, Iโ€™m doing much research as possible before I pull the trigger..
Anyways
Professionals have you ever been with a client that you did not feel safe with, meaning when the client walked through the door your intuition sent you a warning flag immediately..
if something like that did happen feel free to message me or comment down below, or clients if something ever happened to you then feel free to share. Iโ€™m a open book!!
I want to get Both perspectives On this subject!
Thank you so much

  • I'd recommend a public meeting first. If you think you can judge a book by its cover, it's best to see it in a bookstore than have it delivered to your house.

I love the way how you put that!!
    Very well said! ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

  • Just be aware, as soon as you apply, get that pink P badge on your profile and start to charge, it will be more difficult for a male to be a pro. If youโ€™re able to cuddle men as well than you might do a little bit better, but itโ€™s not a big need at the moment. I have heard a couple women saying they might pay for a male cuddler but they are far and few between so if you have patience, then click that apply and have at it!

Now, to answer your question. I always meet my cuddlers in person outside of the cuddle space. In Florida, I have a coffee place pretty close to my home so I give a free half hour to chat it up and have a nice ice breaker. I also have a lot of back and forth messaging even before this meeting to see what theyโ€™re about, so by the time they come to my place or vice versa, Iโ€™m pretty confident they are good people. Now and again, Iโ€™ll have someone that knows how to hide the creepiness but Iโ€™ve never had a cuddler in my space that made me feel the need to kick them out or for me to have to leave their place. You just need to have an amazing screening process and it should help you!

  • I think the site demographic is such that although there aren't many men who will pay to cuddle with men, there are even fewer women who will pay to cuddle with men. That means most of a male pro-cuddler's clients will be men.

I had some weird encounters, but nothing too major for me to want to kick the cuddler out. I would say to just have a firm "no" and set boundaries before actually meeting for a session.
    Good luck & happy cuddles!

  • you are male you will be safer than women who cuddle men since men are stronger and I assume you will also be cuddling male.

. . . but some males are stronger than others, and some may be inclined to push boundaries.

    chuckles

After two years of cuddling, I have a few odd, funny stories...though I keep it to myself mostly out of respect

******EDIT** (if it was something to report, naturally I let the site know, this is more for the....:"odder" requests/funny side/odd side of things that are NOT what cuddling is about, do what you want in your personal life.

I just don't want to be involved in your fetishizing me in a role I truly care about being platonic, it's not a judgmental thing until you start pushing that unto a professional. NOT COOL, no I don't want you to touch my feet, no I don't want to cuddle with your balloon animals, wear something specific, ect....and there is nothing wrong or lacking an open mind creating boundaries that should already be there from the beginning. so CONSIDER that. ****

What I remind people is it doesn't matter what industry you're in there is always going to be a couple bad apples, both on the professional side and the client side.

I have had 2 incidents in two years that I had to no-refund, cancel the session, but it was for overt sexual actions that the client was trying to encourage.

Umm, keep in mind that weirdness is in the eye of the beholder. Some folk apparently want to become cuddle safety consultants or experts on weird vibes. Rest assured that paying customers have their own opinions of certain pros that may dismay some and confound others (clients talk amongst themselves too ๐Ÿ˜Š). To the OP, just trust your gut - not everyone is out to get you, despite the tone of some posters (who have no problem accepting the cash from their โ€œweirdโ€ clients). CC is a great site with well intended people.

  • Thank you @CaptainJed! I appreciate the fact that some people have an open mind.

  • I believe that if every cuddler on this site, listed things they won't do, or parts of their body they don't want touched ; we would find that no activity or touching place, is universally acceptable.

Conversely, I believe that many cuddlers on this site have ideas about things to do, and places to be touched ; without which it isn't a "proper" cuddle. If the wrong pair of people meet up, they would be incompatible.

A game of draughts / checkers, is played using only the dark 32 squares of the 8x8 board. Purists may insist on this, while others may be happy to play instead on only the light 32 squares, and some might really want to play on the light squares. The trick is to know what the other player wants, and for each to accommodate the other as much as possible.

Another game analogy is Bridge, where each player indicates to their partner opposite, which suits they are strongest in ; so that they have most chance of choosing the suit for trumps, which will collectively win the highest number of tricks.

I don't think we should be too quick to label some preferences as weird, when our own preferences may be weird to many other people.

I always wonder about male pro cuddlers: what is your motivation for wanting to be a pro?

If you only cuddle women, you will make essentially zero money. (Often when someone points this out, a couple women pop up and say "I would pay for a cuddle under the exact perfect circumstances." Well, there are many hundreds of men here who do regularly pay for cuddles, and a handful of women who say maybe someday they would. You do the math and see where the potential to actually make money is.)

If you cuddle men, then if you're in the perfect location and are very good at marketing yourself, you might be able to make a modest amount of money.

    So... why?

  • @SanFranResident
That's a good point. If a cuddler goes pro, that would certainly discourage ( maybe even bar ) people who would cuddle with them for free.
