No fans in the stands, Novak is defaulted, it is a 2020 US Open for sure. What do you think? Who do you like to win? With the big guys out someone new will take the title.
I have always liked tennis but don't know enough to have an opinion. Nice thread
Now that Alize Cornet is out I am pulling big time for Serena. Could care less about the men’s side. The women are far more demonstrative and their personality shines through more on the court. But this Open seems to be about the big hitters.
I spent the day tearing flooring apart at one of my jobs and I just got home, so time to catch up. @pmvines no worries mate, liking tennis is a great opinion. @FunCartel Alize has always been one of my favorite women, Serena is not lol. I just looked at the draw and I see Azarenka is still in, i hate her duck call noise she makes when she hits. Her and Sharapova were insane as they tried to out scream each other. Simona Halep, Garbiñe Muguruza (although struggling), Camila Giorgi are a few fav female players. But with who is left in the draw I am pulling for Sofia Kenin to win it.
The mens side is a tough pic now that Novak is out. Thiem is amazing but he has played a lot this year. Zverev, Medvedev are able to do it and I love to watch Shapovalov play. Any one of them could win it and Coric could be a dark horse to take it.
Im still waiting for my wildcard...
Well Kenin layed an egg
Tiafoe skipped the egg and laid a duck.
@snuggleme123 I would need spell check just to list some of those players lol
@pmvines Copy n paste from espn, some I know. It takes a while to learn all the names, spelling is another level.
I am not good at tennis but the few times I played it was a lot of fun . I'm amazing at ping pong . Judt cant do all the running lol
Friends of mine have a ping pong table and the father n son are stupid good. Im improving lol
@pmvines hope you had a great Labor Day!
Thanks you too !
I played three sets today and came home to watch two outstanding three setters in the womans semi finals. Im pulling for Azerenka over Osaka in the Finals. Looking forward to the mens semis tomorrow!
