If a pro declines a booking proposal does that mean the pro doesn’t want to have a sesh if the pro didn’t send a new proposal?
@clash_123 - Ask the person who declined. Nobody in the forums can go into her brain and figure out the reason.
@clash_123 I don't know. Try asking the pro.
@clash_123 It's always best to ask a pro if she's available for a booking before initiating the request. I have to turn down a lot of requests simply because I'm not avaiable at the time being requested but I always will follow it up with an explanation and some proposed alternate dates. Also, a lot of pros do not do same day requests. Not sure if that's what happened here but most like to chat some first before committing to a session. Good luck.
If they haven't sent a new proposal I'd venture to say they are not interested in a session.
I would personally say that if you just when on her page and booked a session without conversation that she may decline it and not reply back for her own reasons. But if you had a full on conversation and agreed to a time and she denied it then she probably changed her mind.
@ElleCuddleMi change her mind about what?
@clash_123 Changed her mind about her booking with you..
Could be any number of reasons. Lack of communication, over communication, something you said, unavailability, etc...
Ask the pro, not us.
@clash_123 I agree with everyone else's assertions. We aren't her so we can't answer that for you. I have had a booking with a pro and she texted day before that she was caught up with work. Any number of reasons.
@clash_123 ,
Those in the forum cannot tell you why she declined. Did you send the request a few days ahead of time ? Have you met in the past ? The best way is to ask her directly.
My expectation is that the booking would be the final and formal step, after some dialogue to establish the details. Simply booking, without that, is probably too curt.
Did you dictate the pro's rate to her?
@biancalovecraft When clients send booking proposals they can't change the rate. It's whatever the pro set it to.
@SanFranResident I would be worried if I didn't know that. But cuddlers can, and do make all sorts of awkward requests and proposals, sometimes in such a cringey way, the best response is no response. Then they come to the forums and talk about how mean the pros are.
@biancalovecraft you are so mean and vicious how could you!!
I'm utterly ruthless.
I am also ruthless.
I once had a friend called Ruth, but we lost contact over the years.
@clash_123 Upon reading your bio it says quite clearly:
“ I’m new to the site and I NEVER booked a sesh with anyone.”
Obviously she canceled the request because she did not want to make a liar out of you.
@FunCartel what do you mean make a liar out of me?
If you claim to have NEVER booked a session then booking one would make that statement false.
@FunCartel Neat ; but a statement is true or not at the time of publication, not of consumption.
From a movie. "Have you lived here all your life ?" "Not yet."
I'm irked by a line from the latest James Bond trailer, where he says, "We just didn't get to yours yet". "Didn't" means the opportunity has passed. "Yet" means the opportunity is ongoing. Grrr.
That's a troll anyway. It has another troll account its interacting with to legitimize itself. I mined some emotional energy from literal ashes to be kind to this warty troll. I'm pretty disappointed to see it still here, considering I've been on to it for 3 to 4 days, And I'm absolutely certain I'm not the first to spot it.
In a hushed whisper, after glancing around to make sure the coast is clear, "psst... @biancalovecraft , who's the troll? I missed it"
@quixotic_life The brave soul who first asks, "Is the Emperor really wearing new clothes ?"
@quixotic_life lol iwas wondering the same thing
@geoff1000 Once again the joke eluded you in your haste to be pedantic.
@FunCartel Not at all ; I saw your amusing pedantry, and raised it.
@geoff1000 Hmmm, you seem to be confused about the difference. The OP asked me to explain so I did, so that was an answer to his question directed to me. You injected yourself as usual to pedantically mansplain everything. Now I am being pedantic to clear things up for you.
I am sure you will reply with a post that is riddled with over analysis of a very simple situation. Ciao
@FunCartel Wouldn't it be great if the site had a "private message" facility, so you didn't have to post your answers on the public forum.
@geoff1000 The question was on the public forum. By your logic there would never be any threads because the answers to the questions posed would have to be directed privately. So no, it wouldn’t be so great because then you wouldn’t have anything to do without the forum.
