I ask because I do not know what is ok and what is not, outside of just using common sense. Example would be what Im putting on as a ru paul type cuddle individual. Is that ok?
I think your profile is fine ☺️ You have a couple pics and explain what you would like in a cuddle. I wouldn’t think it weird that you have a masculine and a feminine side. Maybe add some hobbies or things you like to do. That could expand on who you are 😎 happy cuddling!
Yee profile looks good, agree with @Sheena123 another paragraph or a couple of lines about stuff you like would be an improvement. Otherwise you've got all the basic info down, and have more pictures/description of yourself than a lot of people on here. Best of luck finding cuddles!
And yeah that should be alright.
Very good.
I've had 3 major rewrites of my profile over a couple years and as a result I can say it's now easier to get traffic. Unfortunately, one way of increasing traffic was eliminating a line about cuddling anybody. I don't remember the wording but I wanted to convey that any gender or identity was a-okay. I found the traffic from cis-females slowed. When I eliminated the line, it increased cis-female inquiries. However, all it takes is one magic cuddler and that's exactly what happened with a trans-woman. She is the best ever, we laugh our asses off and share a truckload of interests.
The best advice I got on the last of my rewrites was from @littermate who suggested placing everything I had to offer up front, and everything I expected and wanted at the end. I think that works because people tend to read the first line, then the second and if it reads well, they get drawn in.
it will definitely scare off straight guys, and confuse women. Better choose only one gender. Can't be both.
@PeopleLikeUs I think that's really good advice about putting what you have to offer upfront! I'll have to remember that for my next rewrite. I am sorry to hear you had to eliminate that line to increase interest, that's unfortunate. Why do you think that is?
Kawa, I think you're off to a good start! Your intro is a bit short though, maybe you could add just a little more about your interests? And add a couple more pictures just to fill the empty spaces.
How you express yourself completely up to you. There's not much point to any of it if your cuddle partner doesn't accept you as you are. To me, anyway.
"Compatibility - It is possible to fit a square peg into a round hole, but that usually involves damaging the peg."
Just some corrections if you'd like them (hopefully the bold shows here):
"I like to cuddle while Laying down, on the coutch, etc." correction: laying correction: couch
So the weird part about me Is that I can be both feminine or masculine. I don't like to call myself gay or bi. I'm just a Ru Paul kinda guy where I switch from time to time. Though I'm here to be a comforter to anyone who needs the comfort and to be comforted as well. I'm really new to this cuddling thing and wouldn't mind giving it a go just to see what happens. I don't mind hugging or being hugged. :P
@EarthlyAngel003 - "I am sorry to hear you had to eliminate that line to increase interest, that's unfortunate. Why do you think that is?"
I can only speculate. But it was explained to me by a cis woman (I think) that I may be pushing away women looking for more traditional male-female roles. On this site, because of the drive for money from women, I decided to take that advice into consideration even though I don't fit with traditional male expectations. But like I said, all it takes is one. So Mr. @KawaTheCuddle77's attempt at finding a more specific individual could just as easily attract exactly what he's looking for, not to mention an alternative subsect of CC.
I think he's off to a good start.
Hope you got plenty of help with all the suggestions @KawaTheCuddle77 !
It can be a bit discouraging to get very few responses to one's attempts at contact. However ,it can also be discouraging to get a lot of responses, that don't lead anywhere. It only needs one good result.
Sometimes it can be a good policy to be as specific as possible, so get all the "deal-breakers" out in the open ; and then no-one ends up saying, "Sorry, I really can't cuddle anyone who had an uncle called Bob ( or whatever ).
Wording is important. The man who hoped his prospective wife would outlive him, was advised to not use the phrase, "I want to beat her to death".
@KawaTheCuddle77 ~ You're adorable!
The only thing I could see being a potential drawback would be related to "hair play" scenarios. But how fun that you're open and you!
Good thought posting the question here too ~ Hope this all leads to you finding some great cuddle buddies.
The last picture looks kinda scary, I don’t know I would do if you showed up to my door like that. Just being honest buddy.
Dont let @chocolatey775 or @hellcat_123 sway you. Maybe they feel like that personally, but that doesn't mean everybody else shares the same thoughts. You be you
I don't know the name, but there's a game sometime played at children's parties, where cards are handed out, one to each player, indicating a farmyard animal. Depending on the number of players, several players will be given the same animal.
When the game starts, the players mingle, making the noise of their animal, and listening for others making the same noise, so they can form groups ; the winners being the team which first assembles all their members.
Finding partners for dating, business, or cuddling ; is a bit like that. It's a balance of making one's own noise, and listening out for the noises of others ; and the skill is to be accurate with one's noises and listening.
It is easy to identify a cow from a duck ; but not so easy to distinguish animals which are similar, or identify those which are less well-known. In CC, heterosexual cis-males and heterosexual cis-females have it easy ; compared to all the other combinations of variables. If someone is merely "questioning" or "curious", it might be easier to identify as, and seek those with, more "vanilla" characteristics. Compatibility is important, but "The perfect is the enemy of the good."
