Has professional cuddling reached a plateau or is it possibly in a state of decline?

I was talking to many guys who have been clients to professional cuddlers on this site and other sites and many say they are no longer using pro cuddlers. Most of them say that it either leaves them feeling unfulfilled or they say that it's too costly. Couple this with some of the other professional cuddling service provider sites that have shut down recently as well as the lack of new pros on this site even in the area that live which has the most pros. I feel that pro cuddling which I felt was once growing may have come to a bit of a slow down. Thoughts?

    It has left me unfulfilled.

At first professional cuddling helped me a great deal. My first ever session killed my stress and put a smile on my face. After several sessions with pros I realized that these women were only after my money. They don't care about me. This made me feel awful.
  • I wont be giving up, and My client base has actually increased dramatically within the last few weeks! even been able to do some longer distance travels, its been beautiful, meeting amazing people, and getting some great cuddles! :)
Highly doubt that cuddling will ever fully slow down, there is always love to be had, and cuddles to give! <3
Sorry to hear you guys are not feeling satisfied, but its not for everyone :)
    Best wishes

I am not feeling unsatisfied, for the record. I'm just stating what many other former clients have said to me.
  • Yeah, the fact that 3 snuggler pros in a row quit the site due to not finding enough regular clients kind of shows that....
but maybe they're all going to Brandi instead and that's what happened. lol

Thats a good point, so what's the career life span of a professional cuddler? Since I've been back on this site, I have seen several pros quit. Lexi, Ana, Justina, Bekkah, Jasmine, Heather, Liz, June and more. Also several haven't logged into the site for weeks or months. It seems that more have quit than new ones have started. The career life span of a pro I would guess on average is maybe a year?

I can tell you with absolute confidence that professional cuddling activity on here is growing. Perhaps rather than looking at the turnover of professionals which has always been high, you should consider it from another angle, the turnover of clients. Much like any therapy, perhaps clients don't always need it indefinitely and that might be a good thing.

I would say a turnover of pros, that Morpheus has noticed , is that , pro cuddling , was a part time , or temporary evening side work activity done in addition to the pros day job , which , most likely is steady 9-5 job , income , health insurance( very important I can tell you that ), vacation , and sick leave .
I see a pro from another site and I think I see signs of her being " cuddle tired".   She has a full time job , does her snuggle thing in the evening  , and from conversation I had with her I think she has her mind on starting a family , having children , and doing the stay at home mom thing .
The cost thing us consumers , that , turns over clientele , well , I thought of two ways that might help defray :
one is I think I'm going to put out to bid... In the cuddling requests forum : is bid to me your snuggling service .. I'll give someone , guaranteed , _____ hours / month ,  you give me your best price and I'll choose the low bidder . I will announce it as a private bid .
of course , their will be some qualifications I will put to you ( I haven't figured it all out yet)
second is : since this is tax season , I still have my schedules out in front of me , and I think I can include under medical expenses , the out of pocket costs , for a pro touch therapy session .  Of course , I'll need a doctors prescription to prove it is medically nessassary .   I'm sure my oncologist will write the prescription when I discuss this with her.(heck , when I tell her how much , she might do it herself !!!)
thats all for now happy Easter

  • I think maybe you feel that way because some of the most vocal pros on here post a lot of unfriendly posts and messages while heaping praise on any client who agrees with them.
Luckily not all pros are like them at all...so we can just seek out other pros and ignore these ones who aren't very nice.

Is your comment really relevant to the theory of a slowdown in Pro cuddling? Seems like you are taking a random opportunity to make a sly attack. That was the sort of hostility that many people yesterday expressed willingness to reduce. Are you not interested in joining that effort?

I can only speak for myself, and cuddling is very much a part-time venture for me, but I've been having a difficult time keeping up. I cuddled over the weekend and had a last-minute cuddle last night, and a request for  this evening that we are currently working out the details for. I've also had long conversations back-and-forth with someone I'm planning to meet next week. So I would say one or sometimes two requests per day on a weekend, or an average of 4 to 5 a week.

Plus  I have spent approximately 10 hours taking previous class notes and seminars I have taught on oxytocin and working with other clients in my regular job and turned that into a mini series of discussions on consent,  no as a complete sentence, asking permission to touch, oxytocin and all the health benefits, lack of touch in our society and different forms of (non sexual) physical, emotional and spatial intimacy.  A lot of people have expressed a lot of interest in discussion on those topics.

My children (and delivering babies) are my priority, but I have no complaints about the number of requests.

I would also like to add that I very much appreciate the new effort for peacekeeping. I will not be engaging in any conversations moving forward that are not kind and respectful, and it's nice to see that others are also.

    Group hugs.

  • Actually Mark  I did think it was relevant.  If you don't find nice pros, then you won't have many to choose from :)
Anyway I think this is a good idea to reduce hostilities and would want to join that effort.
