@geoff1000 - a perfectionist has a set of standards and ideas on what/how to improve. I could be wrong, but I don't see this trait. Here's some unsolicited feedback.
Quantity of comments doesn't equal quality. When I see your many posts I typically 1) skip, 2) but because I'm invariably curious, I look for the tries-too-hard analogy, and 3) yep, I scan again to see how off topic you've nudged a thread or missed the topic completely. 1-2-3, every time. Bravo, I hate myself now, and I digress.
If you still insist you're a perfectionist, here are specific ways you can improve your writing or communications. By all means, I'd love to see improvement:
1) overuse of anything will cause irritation (I may or may not be referring to writing/analogies/metaphors); 2) if your comment isn't on topic, then maybe wait until there's a thread/comment of which you can contribute; 3) if you're not savvy or knowledgeable about a subject, it's best to not dive in if you can't swim.

Right on @sideon. I imagine geoff's an alright fellow but his constant, non-stop gibberish and strange way of speaking no doubt contributes to his lack of cuddles/women in the real world thus giving him hours and hours and hours to sit on this site every single day for months on end. Ask him what time it is and he'll tell you how to build a clock. Weird.
Both sides being right or correct is a false statement. 1+1=2. Fire is hot. Liquid water is wet. There’s no...oh both sides are correct. There’s no...some people “believe” fire is cool or 1+1=7. Sometimes it’s simple. There’s right and there’s wrong. And if there’s no agreement on basic, documented, quantifiable facts...then having an intelligent discussion is pointless. We can’t have a discussion if you think the sky is green, grass is red and the earth is flat.
@MrFirefighter a. It's 10 to midnight. b. I believe you were criticised for complaining about off-topic posts. Why are you contributing to one ? c. "Weird". We agree platonic cuddling is "unusual", many people would call everyone on this site, weird.
