  • Sure! That sounds like lunch.

  • Not sure thai coconut soup counts as a drink but I do sip it like one

    Mulled wine

  • Black coffee no sugar no cream.

  • @pmvines yes super yum, that counts if you put it in a cup.
    @pinkbunnys great name. yum!
@spuds duuuuuuude. I tried to like that but I'm too fond of the cream effect.

  • @littermate Nothing like a cup of high test to get you going!

  • @spuds You ain't kidding!

  • Hot Chocolate and Hot Tea (Still have a bunch of loose Samurai Chai Mate from Teavana from before Starbucks decided that what they did made Teavana not profitable and shut down all Teavna locations) is basically the only hot drinks that I drink.

  • Coffee + 2 to 4 shots of espresso, enough cream to turn it the color of a paper bag, topped with whip and carmel drizzle!

    Homemade mulled spiced cider (non-alcoholic)

Hot cocoa with a splash of my cousin's homemade Irish cream

Rumtopf (really nice, after a day spent out in the rain or snow, to sniff and sip next to a roaring fire)

  • In one of the "Equalizer" movies, Denzel Washington takes his own tea bag to the café. I do that for when I think they won't have decaffeinated tea.

  • Gravy left over in the jug at the end of a meal.

  • Anything out of a thermos at the top of a hill while it's snowing.

  • Mulled wine, spiced wine, Glühwein, Gløgg. If not for Covid, I'd do the Christmas markets in Germany.

  • @Sideon tell us about those last two wouldja.

  • Irish coffee with Jameson

  • @littermate , they are all variants of mulled/spiced wine! Glühwein is the German kind. Gløgg, I think, is Nordic.

Something to be said for warmed wine when it's cold out. Extra points for shopping the Christmas markets midday and having a major buzz.

  • Chai tea for sure

  • Caramel Latte.
Normal latte with cream on top, and a squirt of caramel. Sitting on the grass outside a McDonald's on a chilly afternoon yesterday.

  • Hot Chocolate with Whip Cream, or marshmallows, Chai tea with Lemon, English Breakfast tea with Milk.

My go-to hot drink is green tea. I drink it plain these days, which is funny 'cause when I was introduced to it as a kid (at Far East, this Chinese restaurant my church liked to visit) I put so much sugar in that each cup was less "tea" and more "green tea flavored syrup." I guess your taste buds really do change as you age.

  • Yeah @DarrenWalker I can't snarf sugar like I did when I was younger. It's just not appealing anymore.

Look at all you people and your varied hot drinks. I have some new ideas, starting with buzzed Christmas shopping.

I prefer the fresh blood of my vanquished enemies.

But when that's not available, a nice hot mocha will do.

  • @creedhands
Does your cuddling time preference say, "Dusk till Dawn" ; or do you prefer bottled over draught ?

@creedhands good one. I want to party with you!

  • [Deleted User]creedhands (deleted user)

Dusk till dawn preferred, but other hours considered, as long as my vict...er... cuddle partner is not claustrophobic.

  • @creedhands ~ spit take ~ lol!!

  • Bwaaaahahaha!!

  • I just bought some new tea, can't wait to try it:

  • I love that line. And they have the best box designs!
