A non-pro female joined this site around six months ago. She hasn't been very active at all and hasn't logged in for months. I traded a few messages with her early on and we added each other on Snapchat and instagram. Her profile said she was 21 so I never really thought to ask about her age. We've been chatting quite a bit online recently and the topic of age came up. It turns out she's only 16. She looks like she could pass for 21 and what really threw me off is that it appears she's in the military from looking at her on social media. It turns out that not in the military, she's in military school. I was lucky that I found out and never actually did meet up with her because I could have been in all kinds of trouble. Beware my friends, if they look young, make sure they are legal.

    Okay, very unfair how you could get into trouble if she's the one fooling you. If she looks 21 and on Cuddle Comfort it shows that's her age then you shouldn't get into trouble.

    On Tinder there was a 17 year old posing as a 21 year old. We exchanged messages, but since she was underage no way I even considered meeting her. The website should probably id new comers.

    I remember a few times seeing on the home page some girls who age actually showed up as 17 maybe even 16.  Is there not an automatic age minimum for the site?

    I just adjusted the birthdate on my profile and I was able to list myself as 17. I adjusted it back. I don't know if there is a minimum age for a non pro. I'm sure there is for a pro.

    It's not against the law to cuddle I don't think. A lot of people say they are just looking to cuddle and nothing sexual. I think the minimum age for a FB account is 13. Although some say they are not looking for anything sexual I think we can all agree that's not the case for everyone. Personally I don't agree there should be cuddling between those over 18 and those under 18 (or age of consent according to state law.) ..but one could argue "it's just cuddling" Safer to just ask for ID for anyone who looks younger than they say or anyone under 25 (most teens don't say they're over 21)

    All it takes is one single accusation to get you in a whole lotta trouble so best to not even put yourself in a position with anyone underage regardless of the circumstances or context. I avoid even interacting with minors unless there in a parent present, like if I am at the park and a child comes asking me questions and wants to sit next to me on a bench.

    pmvines, quite frankly I extend that idea to any future first time meet with any potential cuddler. First meeting must be in public. no parent needed, but for safety I am not chancing it. In the past, I didn't meet in public first, but realize that is the only way I will ever meetup with anyone again.

     I am a professional cuddler and even though I am supposed to cuddle with "everyone"  I simply do not feel comfortable cuddling with people under the age of 21 unless they are my own kids or family (nieces and nephews). 

     My son is 15 and my youngest brother is about to turn 21… It would make me feel like a freaking pedophile even if it IS non-sexual platonic cuddling. Just nope! It's a personal boundary I'm unwilling to cross.

    The paid cuddler here in my town I'm friends with sons. friend had actually booked a session. She didn't know it was him as the apt was made though the agency and I guess the name didn't click. When he showed up she recognized him as a friend of her sons from school. I guess he was like 22 or something. She said hell no. did sit and chat with him for a bit but no session and he got a refund. Talk about awkward!!! Kid prob had a fantasy about her the whole time he was friends with her son lol

    In my situation though, the girl was posing as someone who was older so my message in all of this is for everyone to make sure regardless of their personal preferences, that the person is of age.

    No, I said it is a personal boundary for ME and I listed the reasons why. Other people can do whatever they want.

     Remember, people are supposed to try their best not to be assholes to each other on the message board. Stop twisting peoples words around.  I clearly listed the age as my son and my youngest brother and said why it would be too awkward for me. Others are certainly able to make their own choices.

    And as some of you posted about before, certain women are "too old" hmmm. 

    @Brandi is over 18.  She is an adult and she is awesome! So I am amending my remark previously because I would absolutely cuddle with her. 

     Each individual person can make that choice about what they are comfortable and not comfortable with, personally I am not comfortable cuddling with boys who are under 21. Or grown men who act like little boys. Either one

    A lot of these comments have little to do with the original post, which is that someone was being dishonest about their age...
    if they were honest about their age, then people could avoid that "underage" person without problems.  but if they lie..its easy to get trapped

    I'm not responsible for people misinterpreting what I say.   I clearly mentioned my son and my youngest brother, indicating that if I were to have a request to cuddle someone that young it will be way too creepy for me. 

    And based on how wildly successful Brandi is with her professional cuddling business, I would say she is doing great. I never mentioned her name in my original post.  Others did that. It's rude.

    I agree with @greenearth I hope the original point of this thread isn't going be missed which was as he said, about someone's dishonesty which in turn can bring harm to someone else. It was about more than simply someone's age and if it's creepy to cuddle with someone of whatever age or anything else like that. I'm just trying to look out for the greater good of the community which should be bigger than personal disagreements between members.

    18+ for me, unless it's a quick friendly hug... It may be legal if she's a little younger(16-17), but I'm not willing to take that chance...

    In response to the earlier comment, there is an age restriction of 18+ in the terms & conditions. If you enter anything below 18 when you sign-up, you are rejected. You can indeed change your age after signing up but that's actually helpful in identifying underage users and banning them.

    A long time ago, after exchanging messages with a new member I noticed that she had changed her age to 17. I sent her back a message that she should absolutely not be on this site, then reported her (and yes, there is a choice to tap underage) and she was banned immediately. Glad I caught it quickly though.

    (I did wonder why someone would do that and I could only assume it was some kind of trap). Bullet dodged!

    Hii I am not a moderator I am a CC forum reader and enthusiast. To clarify, the age requirement for this site is 18 years and above. Engaging someone under 18 for a cuddle session via Cuddle Comfort is strictly prohibited. Remember, all users need to be at least 18 years old.

    @WestsideMarc they’re doing it for quick money that doesn’t require getting a job. The same reason teenagers sell drugs lol. It’s very flexible around a school schedule. Even if she was an enthusiast account, might have still been here trying to get paid. A lot of people who join don’t understand they need their accounts to be approved before charging
