Riddle me this... πŸ€”πŸ’¬

Riddle #1:
It can't be seen, can't be felt,
can't be heard, and can't be smelt.
It lies behind stars and under hills,
and empty holes it does fill.
It comes first and follows after,
ends life, and kills laughter.

What is it?

Answer #1:

The dark ~ πŸŒ‘

Riddle #2:
What goes up the chimney down, but won't go down the chimney up?

Answer #2:

Riddle #3:

  • I don’t know how to hide answers lol

  • @Sheena123 ~
    You put a right arrow/carrot '>'
[no space] followed by an exclamation point '!'
[then one space] followed by your "spoiler" text.

If wanting to hide multiple paragraphs repeat the symbols at the start of each.

  • Cool. It works.

I was thinking "nothing" for the first one.. I guess I was close.

I used to like to play the kind of riddle games where someone would state a situation and you'd have to ask yes/no questions until you figure it out. One such riddle: There's a guy sitting at a table in a bar who has been shot dead, and he is surrounded by bicycles. What happened?

He was playing poker with some other people and was caught cheating and shot dead. The "bicycles" are Bicycle brand playing cards.

  • I need a beer.

    Get me one.

@quixotic_life I always wondered what that little blurb meant: β€œStyling with Markdown is supported” Thanks for opening our eyes to all the possibilities.

    😳...πŸ€—

  • @cualtzin ~ You're welcome 😊 I had to look it up a while back because the formatting buttons weren't working, plus I think it's fun to play with.

  • Riddle:
How do you make the number 7 even without addition, subtraction, multiplication, or division?

    Answer:

    Drop the "S".

  • Riddle:
Mr. and Mrs. Mustard have six daughters and each daughter has one brother. How many people are in the Mustard family?

    Answer:

There are nine Mustards in the family. Since each daughter shares the same brother, there are six girls, one boy and Mr. and Mrs. Mustard.

More of a puzzle: Can you make one word out of the letters in "new door"?

Yes. (Just rearrange the letters to make "one word").

What do you call a cow with no legs?

    Ground beef

  • [Deleted User]creedhands (deleted user)

What do you call a pig with no legs

Sausage (you were expecting "groundhog"? Well, if you grind a hog, you get sausage!)

What do you call a dog with no legs?

It doesn't matter. He's not going to come anyway.
