Sometimes I like to imagine: "What would the psychopsphere—if there were such a thing—smell like?"
Because surely, if human thought were a palpable thing that affected reality, it would have a scent.
Unwashed bodies is a given. Ash, possibly. And plastic; the cheap sort that makes up Happy Meals, set on fire. Excrement—heaps and heaps of it, with a hint of viscera.
Psychosphere is a new word to me so I've seen looking it up. As is often the case, looking up words you don't know in dictionaries isn't quite as helpful as you were hoping.
Anyway, wouldn't it smell of a mixture of what you are actually smelling at the time, combined with the smell of what you are thinking or imagining?
The one thing we can say for certain is that it will smell of earthly things: smell is a combination of gas(es), scent receptors and interpretation of the signals therefrom. The psychosphere may produce new combinations or sensations (a bit like an innovative perfume, or perhaps three innovative perfumes and a durian that's on the turn), but it won't produce any new underlying scents.
yes looking up words you know only makes you gain more knowledge and you can never have to much knowledge is power
I'd love to have conversations with anyone who wants to talk! It's not the same as face to face, but it's better than nothing.
