  • @OhioMike Yeah, you could call it the “I Should Have Taken The Money” Foundation.

  • @FunCartel I like it! Plus I could use a good write off this year!

  • I'm unsure of the concept of just one soulmate - Some people get married multiple times.. As far as someone who feels like a perfet match though, it might be nice to find someone like that eventually. I think interpersonal connections are important and can make you more happy than money can. Money is good for providing some security to pay for the essentials though. And I've heard of people winning the lottery and going bankrupt and ending up worse off in the end.. I'd try to be careful with it. So why not both?

  • But... What if my soulmate would want me to take the money?

@HoldenCaulfield What if your soulmate wouldn't want you to take the money? It could be quite the quandary. Even a mystery, wrapped in an enigma, wrapped in a quandary..

  • The only reason my soulmate wouldn’t want me to take the money was if they had already taken it themself! They’d be like, “I got the money, boo.” And I’d be like, “Good move, soulmate!

  • @HoldenCaulfield that would definitely be perfect scenario lol

take the money. the idea that there is only one person for everyone is archaic.

  • @sage_wisdom - let’s just say there is ... hypothetically

  • [Deleted User]sage_wisdom (deleted user)

@introvme that’s just it. there is no hypothetical.

I also don't believe in soul mates. Now gimme that sweet sweet dough!

  • Take the cash, no second thoughts.

    That's real, "soul mates" isn't.

@introvme...ok....well then riddle me this. why do people remarry?

  • 100 m. Soulmates are rare, a good marriage tends to fizzle out after 10 to 15 years, and then most people just feel too scared to leave. In dating most relationships happen due to circumstance or convenience. I’d rather be financially set up and experience the world and meet cool people

  • @sage_wisdom I don't think that there's only one person for everyone out there. But according to many, some of the deepest happiness comes from being with those who you've built up trust with over a long period of time.

I'd imagine as we get older, money gets less important as buying novel experiences lose their allure and the bonds we have with those in our lives matter more and become more rewarding the deeper they become.

That said I think you should always have enough money to not worry about paying the bills.

I would say soulmate but I believe mine died 14 years ago unfortunately

  • @dsmith42 I agree with everything you just said! As far as soulmate, it doesn’t necessarily needs to be marriage , but I get it completely... I think I should re-word the post to, “100 Million dollars but never being able to see / speak or communicate with the person you love the most in this world 🌎 🌌 ♥️ - for me that’s an easy no.

  • WOW, I thought what a DUM question and shocked at most of the choice's !!!!! for me, I would take my soul mate any day, I would give up everything I own if I could only bring her back !!!!!!! I have to assume not many have really found there true soul mate, I found her in my 2nd marriage. I am going to add one line, that most would not admit to, but it may be the truth. My 1st. marriage was for SEX, My 2nd. was for LOVE
I was asked one time if I had to choose between 1 Million & NO friends or all the friends that I wanted and no Million dollars, I would take the friends every time, I mean TRUE friends, not the ones that want to be your friend as long as you can do something for them, I have run in to many of them.
Money is NOT everything, as I look back on my life, as I'm sure a lot of you will do when you get my age, some of the best times have been when I was working long days, and at the grocery store adding up everything that went in the shopping cart to make sure I had enough money to pay for it all. Don't get me wrong, I don't need a GO FUND ME account, LOL
Sorry I got a little long winded, LOL

  • Pretty sure I don't have a soul mate, so the money easily.

    100 mil

  • @waynewv thank you soo much for that!

  • Awesome 😎 @waynewv !!! ❤️

  • Life isn’t lived in an instant. Learning s/he’s your soulmate isn’t a flash in the pan, tho many will say they knew right away (hindsight is so clear...). So given this instantaneous choice I guess I’d have to be shown that this soulmate is right for all those reasons year after year after year. And having seen our future laid out in it’s perfect harmony i’d refuse that in that instant. Paradise is purgatory, utterly boring. Give me human chaos and that lifetime of learning Her.

    🥰 Beautiful!

  • No reason to choose, I'll take both. 💗💗

  • @MissAdventurous but the genie 🧞 will only give you 1 🥺

  • I'll take the $100 million and rent out the soulmate in one hour increments.

    Soulmate every time!!!! Priceless!

  • You might have made it more competitive by bringing it down to five or ten million dollars or even one million. 100 million is too much for most people to pass up. By making the offer
One million vs Soulmate, then I think you would really find who cares more about money/ security and who cares more about a soulmate.
