whats the diff b/t pro and non pro?

hello all!

i want to be a pro myself and I'm curious to know what the 80-100 difference is. whys it worth spending 80-100 bucks an hour verses just getting it for free?

I want to know so that if I'm able to do it myself, my clients would feel they've gotten their moneys worth. thanks!

  • Hey girl! This site is very easy for pros to be pros there is no special requirements or anything however you would need to contact @mark the sites admin and he can send over the contract and extra details.
You can charge whatever you feel your time is worth, 60$ $80 or $100 whatever you feel is best. Texas may not have a whole lot of clientel but I have chattes with a few men from that state and am sure you could find people wanting to meet up. I reccomend chatting with a few other pros and read through some of the forrums to see if there are any questions that people may have already asked or talked about.

Moat of all Be safe and have fun!

Message me anytime if you need a friend or some support!

  • hi Rockstaar.  This forum has some posts from guys who say they have very little success finding anyone who will cuddle with them for free.  When you contact a female member here, they can be very choosy about who they cuddle with...many want relationships to go with it.  Or they just outright ignore you.
So for guys who want to just cuddle now and not wait several months for someone to match them well enough for free cuddling, its worth spending the money on professional cuddlers.

Granted, that's just one client's opinion. To really understand the answer to your questions may take asking many more clients to get a full picture.

  • oh ok. I was just asking bc charging someone just to hold them sounds ridiculous to me. I was wondering if anyone did other things like hypnosis, guided meditation, massage, raiki, has studied psychology and offers a kind of therapeutic approach, etc.

thanks guys for the feedback. I will definitely look into it :)

The main appeal is probably convenience for the reasons mentioned above. There's also the factor of the client being looked after where as with a non-pro session they would be wondering how the other person is feeling or thinking.

As to the value of cuddling itself, for many people it is a form of therapy that uniquely causes a big release of oxytocin.

And yes, there are quite a few cuddlers who introduce other skills they have into their sessions such as those you mentioned.
  • Just about every pro has offered to massage my back during sessions.  We don't just cuddle.  :).as for all those other new age things I guess some clients may find them useful but I don't.
Its not the cuddling itself that is worth the money.   Free cuddling can be just as good if not better.   However pro cuddling does have one advantage.  It's more of a one way thing. The client is the one who is focused on.  And they generally decided how the session goes. Whereas in a free session it's more equal and like dating someone vs hiring an escort to go on a date with you.

There is absolutely nothing about professional cuddling that in any way resembles "hiring an escort to go on a date with you".

Nothing about platonic cuddling is in the same arena as prostitution. Let's not go there again.

Like Mark said above, a lot of people find it therapeutic and want a professional cuddler because it helps define the service where those other fuzzy lines that may occur between just cuddle buddies.  Some people are married or in a relationship and looking for something they are not getting in that relationship, for whatever reason, and don't want any awkwardness of sexual undertones whatsoever.

Just like you would not call a massage therapist an escort.  Nor would you call the therapeutic touch and relaxation "prostitution" because you are paying for a person to rub your tired muscles and relax you.

I'm not saying escorts are pro cuddlers...where do you get that from?
The aspect of hiring someone to do something with you that normally you would find with a friend or loved one...is similar to hiring an escort.  That doesn't mean hiring and escort and hiring a pro cuddler is the same thing.
Of course they are very different activities.  One has sex, and the other just cuddles and gives you massages.
But the general idea is that they are doing something for money that you would ordinarily find through other means like a relationship or friendship with a cuddle buddy.
I guess you don't like to think that there are any similarities...but there are in fact many similarities.
In fact some escorts are happy to just cuddle with you when they realize that's all you want.  :)

There must be a better analogy than hiring an escort to go on a date. It's an understandably sensitive issue here because of the harmful misconceptions of this industry.
  • Ok well escorts aren't evil people.  But I'll try to think of another one.

  • @Fireandblue an escort is not necessarily selling sexual services. There are social escorts that will go on a date with a client where sexual services don't happen which is in fact very much like a paid cuddler. Although I agree with what @Mark said where he states we should refrain from using that word on here just as I feel we need to refrain from using words like perves when describing clients, so I do feel that @Greenearth is correct in his statement. He did not use the word prostitute which indicates sexual services.

Some of The best sessions are with the clients that are 100% respectful and see professional cuddlers as regular people. :) a lot of my cuddle buddies actually don't go in thinking its all about them, many have even brought wine to share and we exchanged shoulder massages.

its all about mutal respect as equals and fellow human beings looking to have a wonderful social interaction, and thats hard to find these days.
  • Cute new profile pic @Brandi and noticed you have 25 pics, awesome. I always thought we could only have like like 3 lol I should add some more :-)
  • Oh I respect the professional cuddlers I see immensely and treat them with respect...but only one of us is paying hundreds of dollars per session so the session really should be mostly all about the client.
Now if it was a non pro cuddle session then of course it shouldn't be all about one person or the other, but more of an equal arrangement :)

I've not benefited from a cuddling session yet that was not with a pro. I have also benefited by the  two pro's I've seen being able to host and not had to use a hotel.  Those non-pros I've almost cuddled with the stumbling block has been neither of us has been able to host and needing to get a room has unfortunately resulted in lapse communication...
So in essence I can only conjecture. I will say I need or prefer that even with a pro I want sharing... I want mutual cuddling.
