I believe you do lose some of the emotional value when you pay for a cuddle vs have a free exchange. That's not to say that anything is wrong with paying for one. That's the individual's decision. However, something given freely without any expectation of reward is probably valued more...at least emotionally. Of course this is up to the way each party perceives the act. There is no right or wrong answer because it depends on the individual's point of view.
when you take the time to thoughtfully buy someone you care about a present that means a lot to them, does it then mean less or nothing because you couldn’t make it with your hands? because you used money to buy it? Noooo. Money is just paper. if the professional does not want to cuddle they would either decline the booking proposal or quit the job. the money is only to compensate for the time they set aside out of their work schedule or day for the client. it does not amount to the benefit of the session in it’s entirety.
