@FunCartel if what I learned throughout my career and from professionals is not of any value to you because you think what's online has a higher value then so be it...I'm not gonna argue with you on that. If you also question my intelligence...that's on you as well. Again, you believe whatever you wanna believe and I do the same
@Aurora87 Again with the 1%. Even as the variants mutate into deadlier versions you like that 1% number because to see that nearly 600,000 have died in the US alone doesn’t much matter. You are using sophistry to not seem specious. You say people died but the disease is not deadly. So you are the arbiter of what is deadly? Do you want to tell cancer patients or people with asthma that Covid is not deadly. Doctors far more in the know are saying it’s deadly so I will take their word over a nurse’s opinion without supporting evidence.
As much as I would like to get in this discussion, it’s gotten to the point of bullying in my opinion. Really in all my years here this is what the biggest weakness is on the cuddle comfort site. The mindless twisting bullying I personally can’t stand .
Everyone.
If you have a lovely opinion about
1) masks and not needing to wear them (you do, until the world conquers COVID) 2) vaccinations and whether you believe in them or not (you can disbelieve in gravity and still fall down) 3) Covid vaccines that change your DNA (newsflash: they don't) 4) and unsubstantiated, unproven, and non-peer reviewed disinformation from news aggregators (cf: entertainment is news)
you're welcome to share that elsewhere. But not here. Not on this thread. Not on this forum.
Reminder to get back on topic. In the matter of vaccines and Covid and the public health, misinformation and falsehoods will not be tolerated.
@OhioMike as someone who has myself been accused of bullying on here , I concur. Heated topics and heated times we live in . I am always up for some spirited debate , but that's not what I'm seeing lately .
Would cuddle comfort consider adding a filter for who is vaccinated and who isn't?
Now that I am vaccinated, I am more inclined to see someone that is too... but there really is no way to search based on that.
@alb2049 the reality is that it would not. Not for philosophical reasons, but simply because I have observed that it is the practice of the site not to implement little changes like that. It costs money to do it, but it won't increase revenue, so it won't happen.
Conversely, bugs do usually get fixed within a day or so.
@CuddleDuncan I kind of figured as much, but with COVID being such a giant issue in our lives these days - maybe they'll look into it? I hope so!
