Is it appropriate to put on your profile that you are fully vaccinated? Just 😔 I hope everyone have a fantastic week....
It's appropriate. Nothing wrong with putting this info in your profile, @MayFlowers .
@Sideon Thank you
As a client I would love to see that in the profile.
Absolutely yes. Useful information.
I feel like it gives people a sense of security if you put it on your profile.
Totally useful information! I think it is up to the individual in mind but I definitely think the more you provide, the more it helps people decide if they want to cuddle with you as well.
Yes, definitely go for it @MayFlowers !! I feel it would be helpful for peeps who are being super careful rn, and it shows you care for their safety too!
I put it in my profile along with the date of my 2nd dose, so that it is clear when the two week waiting period is complete and full immunity is achieved.
It's not just appropriate, it's extremely considerate of others and shows you take their health seriously.
Not only in your profile but in Alberta you get a letter of proof , which is a good idea to carry with you. Remember is only 75 % to 95 % effective. BUT a whole lot better than nothing
75% effective at preventing you from getting sick at all or from having to go to the hospital? I was told it was extremely effective at preventing hospitalisation, though you can still get sick sometimes. I think that's what I was told?
I just got my first dose today. Good news, no super powers. Bad news, no super powers, lol
Keep the language clean, @jay20211 - thanks. [-Sid]
never gettn vaxxed.
@jay20211 this thread isn't for the purpose of debating getting vaccinated. Read the OP post and the responses and you will see that nobody really cares or wants to hear your gleeful exclamation about not getting vaccinated.
I think it’s more than appropriate but I also hope we can respect everyone’s individual choices for their own body and health and not shun anyone either way.
@xandriarain: Sure... but, I mean... it's not just your own body and health you're putting at risk when you don't get vaxxed, you know?
A lack of proper education is going to eventually push us to having a "relapse" for vaccinations. Many people alive today don't know what it was like before vaccines were a thing so if they don't learn with education or real life experience it's not unexpected that this is the result. More education funding would solve many problems, but hey, spending money on education?....screw that Edited, because it was reported for language, @JasonCuddles - mind the f-bombs. Thanks. [-Sid]. Can't have any of that socialist garbage in our lives. Education for only the rich is where it's at.
I did put it on my profile that I have had both shots and also put that I still wear my mask and try to be safe.
As soon as I receive my second shot on March 29 I will be posting it on my profile. Good thought @MayFlowers
Poke #1 complete.
@littermate Yippee for you. Which one did you receive?
Thanks everyone for your responses. In my opinion I think people should put vaccination status on profiles the same way some choose not to mask so we can know. It would be nice to see that information and know. I feel more comfortable cuddling with someone that is fully vaccinated. I'm glad to be back after a long yr of uncertainty. Peace & Blessings to all.
After seeing all the responses I see that it was appropriate. Thanks everyone 😊
Fully vaccinated.
@Mmart Pfizer. Which I'm happy about because my sister is rather high up in that organization and is very proud. So I wanted to get the Pfizer vaccine just to say, "Thanks sis."
I actually felt very touched going through the process with the health department, seeing all the helpers funneling all the to-be-vaccinated through the lines - lines and lines of cars of people being moved through the process. One of the nurses literally thanked me for getting vaccinated after I thanked her for what she was doing. I can imagine how they feel seeing so many cases of covid and then seeing people lining up to attempt to quash the thing. Takes a village to quash a pandemic.
I would love to see it in a profile, but I think I would rather see if someone puts that they don't want the vaccine or that they don't believe in covid so I don't accidentally meet up with them..
@xandriarain AGREED
Reported, reviewed, removed. Misinformation. Forum timeout begins - and you were warned, @jay20211 . [-Sid]
@jay20211 I think everyone gets your position on vaccinations and it is accepted. We don't need the constant reminders.
@jay20211: Isn't Geert Vanden Bossche a Belgian veterinarian? Pushing his own invented product?
