I'm curious how people feel about their buddies age? Is it relevant or not?
I would say that I would ideally prefer to cuddle somebody closer in age to me, as I think we'd be more socially in tune, most likely. The way it works out, however, is I use a particular pro here who I get along great with. She's about 32 years my junior, but who's counting.
I will cuddle compatible interests people of any age!🤗

I think it depends on the person. Ideally, for cuddling, age shouldn't matter so much, but I guess that would depend on what the individual associates good cuddling with. Some people prefer people around their age. Some prefer younger, some prefer older. It's just one part of who someone is.
This one part of a person, age, is not that important to some people, but rather important to others. Considering age to be very important in a cuddler might be considered shallow, so I'm guessing this thread might not get many responses stating that for fear of judgement.
I'm also sure that generalizations can be made about age, but everyone is individually unique.
I've cuddled with people ten years younger and over 10 years older than me.
I'm mostly in the same boat as @UCpaaHVg6u0 ! I tend to enjoy the conversational flow/topics with people who are somewhere around my age, give/take a decade younger, a few decades older.
I personally do not think it matters. I have had beautiful connections with people of all ages, and I really enjoy discovering all ways in which a person can be shown affection and appreciation through cuddling
It is darn near impossible to find a cuddle buddy anywhere near my age. I’m 65. Most of the people I cuddle with are in there 20’s or 30’s . I’m happy cuddling a person of any age, but it would be nice to cuddle someone my age.
Age irrelevant. Wholesomeness, integrity, humor, and warmth for me.
It's not a Thing. I've cuddled people fifty years younger than me, and fifty years older. (Not always from this site, obviously.) I've also cuddled a number of non-humans, and I haven't found age to be a factor there either.

@sunnysideup I also agree. Preferences are all over the board. Theoretically, I prefer people closer to my age for the reason of shared experiences. However, I have found it really depends on the person. I have met people my age that are as vapid as a lobotomized cow, while I have met people much younger who I could converse with for days. It is all about the connection.
And yes, I felt compelled to inject a bit of cow into this thread. It udderly needed it.

As for age, I look at it this way: that first year with a dog or cat, they're always full of energy, always full speed or crashed out? If you're past that, not too fidgety, all good.
I have cuddled all different ages and personality has a much bigger impact than age. In cuddle sessions it’s more often that we talk about deeper more personal things than popular culture and generational stuff. In terms of actual Cuddling abilities age doesn’t seem to have much of an impact on that, so what really matters is the emotional connection which also doesn’t seem to be very impacted by age. However I have heard some people assume that there is little demand for professional cuddlers much beyond their 30s which makes me really sad. I’ve also been rejected a few times for being too young because the client wanted someone closer in age which I completely respect but I also question if they could have enjoyed my company despite my age. I honestly get irritated with ageism no one should be limited by or judged purely by their age.

Although it wasn't a scheduled cuddle session, I had the pleasure of cuddling with a woman in her early 90's. Nothing fancy, we just sat on a bench with an arm around each other and talked. I found it very comfortable and relaxing.
I've been cuddling with pros from CC, and from a service no longer in business here, for nearly 12 years. Their ages have ranged from 18 to 70. Probably around 40 ladies over the years, and I've only had two bad experiences. My interest in things of the world is varied, so my cuddler and I have always had interesting conversations, until we get to the point where we're both content to just breathe and enjoy the moment.
