The age difference is a matter of where you are in the world. The minimum age of an adult is different in all countries. So what is the actual age in the Universe that you are an adult?
I have more of a problem with two men or two women getting married. It's against nature and the laws of God in my religion.
If you going to allow that, than why not someone older cuddling with someone much younger? It makes no sense.
It's up to the person anyway. They set the age range on their profile. Maybe they can go outside of it and make an exception if they like the person that is writing them.

@rj88, so I understand your concerns because predators do exist (on this website... probably in this thread.. clears throat ) and it would be an easy trap for an 18 year old to fall into.. for example, I've shown up to meet a man in his hotel (as a mature 34 year old) and had him "not have pants". Its really not cool ever, but that young is particularly traumatic because you don't know what to do, you aren't good at saying no. I think whats hard for you to accept is that you have to just allow other people their own life experiences. Even at 18, your opinion no longer matters about what a woman does with her body, with whom and how old they are. The law recognizes us as adults at 18.... so that means you don't get a say. As for age differences just being "wrong" thats totally your own prejudice. My boyfriend is over 20 years older than me and its been the most tender and meaningful relationship in my life. You can think whatever you want, but I think what you need is better emotional boundaries. Think about why someone else's legal life choices around their body affects you so much emotionally?
