Hello all,
So I'm new, and looking to introduce myself. I do have the love language of Physical Touch, BUT...not looking for love (nor sex). I just like the idea of intimacy with no strings attached. Having a photo of yourself on your profile would help with responses. Some people might not want to have to ask for a photo because women get lots of messages so they might not bother with no picture profiles and filter them out first.
Most important is to write a nice email to someone you find to your liking, and write a paragraph. Short and sweet, most importantly be honest and friendly.
Offering massages might not be what some wanna hear especially with first contact.

I get turned off by guys bringing up massage, it sounds like they are looking for more than platonic cuddling. Lest you think I’m a prude, I’m a professional massage therapist with 30 years of experience. Guys who bring up massage always say they are really good at it but they tend to overestimate their skills. I’m more impressed with a guy who is willing to go slowly, take their time, lets the woman lead in terms of how much and what kind of contact they want, and doesn’t bring up non-cuddling intimate activities like massage.

If you travel a lot, I’d suggest becoming a regular participant in the forums. It’s a way for people to get to know you and there are people active here from many places. The best cuddling experience I’ve had from CC was with another member I’d gotten to know from the forums.

@Babichev Definitely not trying to be a turnoff, but also trying to be true to things I enjoy and do well. Sorry about the guys that overestimated their ability. Me, though...I'm going by what I've been told.

@CuddleDuncan Thanks for your post. It took me a little while to read...LOL, but very sincere and full of experience. I guess we can chat offline for me to explore more of what cuddling "Does" accomplish. I thought it was like a "fill in" for the gaps of life, but your post just deepened the entire experience. WOW! Obviously, I'm speaking from ideal opposed to you speaking from experience (and it seems like a lot of it).

Even in your post, though, I felt a little frustration that it's possible that in times of need, the comfort hugs may not be available. SHOOT :-(

@JoeL2020 everyone is different, just message the person you’re interested in cuddling with the information they request.

Like:
Hi my name is ____ and I’d like to book a session with you. I found you intriguing/interesting/I like your photos etc.
Specific days & times I am available are _____ and I’m interested in a ___hr session.

Attach photo facing the camera, with clothes on.

Before or after booking the session, I require proof of vaccine and agreement to an icebreaker activity. A 10-15 minute video chat or a walk & talk in a park nearby.
I suggest booking a session 2 weeks ahead of time is respectful but everyone is different.

I haven’t heard the 2 week rule much, but I do like it. When I do book, I think I’ll do that.

Each pro runs their business differently and may have different booking requirements (we are not employed by CC nor are we independent contractors with CC). Some request a deposit up front. Other than that, pros are paid in person at the beginning of the session with cash (some may take electronic payments). If a pro no shows, offers extras, or otherwise goes against the TOS, report them.

I too try not to be a turn off and stay true to things I enjoy and do well. Reading the title of this thread reminded me that I've long been at a point where I don't feel like I need cuddles so bad I'll pay someone to gimme 'em. But most of the time when I need a hug I gotta wait days or up to 2 weeks to get it due to my full-time job, alternating weekend plans and the limitations of my electric bike battery.

I've been told I give the most amazing foot massages. My current best friend (not a romantic prospect AFAIK) enjoys the foot massages I give every other week at the condo she rents from her mother in the next town relative to where I live. She also holds me anywhere between 20 seconds and 1 full minute every single time she hugs me. As long as these arrangements last with her, I won't be paying a pro on any sort of regular basis. I've actually known my current best friend for 2.5 years but these arrangements where she enjoys foot massages from me are grand-spanking new (just started late July 2021). Maybe six months to a year from now I'll need half-hour-plus cuddle that she might not give, and then I'd pay a pro unless a non-pro was willing.
