    @FunCartel

    That night taught me what pyschs could be if you didn't take them with the intention to party and just get fucked up. I didn't trip for years after because I was scared. Not of the trip, but I knew it was a window I could open to face myself and be like, "what's up, homie?" I got into a car wreck in 2017 caused by a drunk driver and I flipped my truck seven times and walked away without a scratch while the third car had fatalities and two of them were not adults. I had survior's guilt plus ptsd, so I remembered that window that was introduced to me and decided to step though it in progressing doses. And what I mean by ptsd, time slows in moments like that. Before I started flipping, I was sliding on the driver side with my face about six inches from the highway and could see the sparks flying in front of me. I started rolling and remember making the decision to wrap my head in my arms. Each time the roll hit the roof of my truck, my elbows and shoulders took the hit and I remember thinking, that should have been my head.

    I had to explore that, but when I tried to do it with meditation, it resulted in anxiety and panic attacks, so I went to whiskey. Understanding I didn't have the courage, I decided to dose and put myself in a situation where I didn't have a choice and holy f**k if it didn't work. Yea, it wasn't the most comfortable of experiences, but it brough a lot of relief. My Mom passed and I was in the same situation with grief. I just didn't know WTF I was going to do with it, because I wanted to feel it and and respect the human experience.

    "I am way too afraid of that stuff now"

    I suggest trying a psych with intention. The trip you described sounded like absolute chaos and I've had those trips, but once I went into it knowing things would probably go South and realizing I was more in-tune with myself, the chaos becomes wisdom. I know that sounds weird, but there's a reason MDMA, Ketamine, Psilocybin are now being used in clinical trials for ptsd, anxiety, depresssion. Food for thought.

    Adding a picture of my truck after the wreck for context, not attention. I know I should have been seriously hurt or killed.

  • Damnnnn @CharlesThePoet 😯 your 21st birthday takes the cake (no pun intended)! ….. I don’t think no one else can top that

  • @Saysoh Oh I am very aware of all the different psychedelics as from 16-25 I was a walking dispensary and tripped countless times, tried everything I could get my hands on, traveled in a persistent drug induced state and then woke up one day and recognized being in that state had become a chore and I never did it again. I was just saying that at my age I really do not want to try them again because my mind is in a different place now and I do know what they can do. I never had a bad trip but I was fearless a a young FunCartel, and part of what determines how you will react is mindset.

    Sucks about the truck. I was just hit by a semi in Phoenix on August 30th in a rental car. It was a close call.
