@ernesto_2 , wow, you have a real gift for hitting the nail squarely on the head. Thank you.
I’m not afraid to cuddle men. I just don’t want to get annoyed again by some guy being pushy.
It's really unfortunate that women have had bad experiences with men on this site. It's NOT SUPPOSED TO BE THAT WAY!!! This explains why so many women join, then end up deleting their profile not long after. I know that many/most of the women on here are very cautious about who they communicate with. I'm sure new members get inundated with messages from men in their area because there always seems to be a shortage of women compared to men on here.
While communication about boundaries and expectations for a cuddle are key, it's still not a guarantee you will hit it off. There, at least for me, needs to be some sense of comfort with the other person before a meet and greet even occurs, let alone scheduling a cuddle after.
Is there a place on here where women can report pushy men? Or even men report pushy women? I know there are no fail proof ways to keep predatory people off of the site. They can always sign up again if they get banned.
Would it be possible to set up a thread in the forums that are strictly for the ladies? It would create a space where they can talk freely about their experiences with pushy/aggressive men to avoid. Maybe even "pin" it at the top of the forum thread when the ladies check the forum for easier access. Maybe then it will make it easier for the respectful men on here to fid a cuddle partner?
To add another hashtag to @ernesto_2 , is #yesallwomen in response to the #notallmen, because regardless of whether all men are sexist (which we know they are not), all women are affected by sexism and misogyny.
I don't think women are afraid of cuddling, we are afraid of misogyny and sexism and the sexual assaults that come from many men as a result of this dehumanizing way of thinking about us and our bodies.
a good amount of sharks attack and kill people. Not ALL sharks attack and kill people, buuuut are you going to immediately trust every shark you come in contact with just because some sharks are “nice sharks”? No lol 😆
So, women are on guard at all times around men because we don’t know which ones aren’t going to hurt us. If you are truly a respectful and understanding man, this shouldn’t bother you. Period.
@Sheena123 - Sharks are actually nicer.
SNL's Welcome to Hell song...
@Mike403 lol you’re pretty correct on that 😆
Hah what??? There's a saying ... it ain't weird until you make it weird. Approaching women in 2021 hasn't been an issue ... I guess it all comes down on how you approach women.
Moliere would have to title his most famous play in plural form now days judging by this thread.
@cuddlestogive - regarding a forum just for women - I kind of doubt it. Publicly making accusations could leave one open for libel/slander/whatever the appropriate term would be. However, members can and should report anyone who violates the terms of service. It may not get them banned immediately, it depends on how egregious the transgression, how solid the evidence, etc. However, it does create a record and if it happens repeatedly they are banned from the site. Yes, sometimes people turn around and create another profile, not all of them get caught but many do.
If anyone is unsure how to report, at the top of the profiles there’s a box with three little dots. The option to report is there.
I love cuddling, but men constantly push boundaries 🙄 That scares me.
If the people that are looking to cuddle, would not even ask for something that isn’t platonic, the cuddle world would be a better place for all of us and the fear of cuddling anyone could be eliminated. ~tranquilescape
I don't think anyones afraid of cuddling men, women are afraid of being attacked. Unfortunately most women have been assaulted in their life. But cuddling with nice respectful caring men is very very lovely The first session is always a thing cause you don't know the vibe, even if you think you do. I think the cuddles get better if you have repeated sessions and deeper connect and get more comfortable with someone
