Scary Photos

Has anyone noticed how scary a number of photos on this site are? I find a number of men's photos rather off putting~!

We seem to be a fairly judgmental bunch in these threads in the forum lately.

I say, Happy Holidays, and to each his/her own.  Live and let live a bit.  If it's not right for you, then fine, but why bother to come on here and condemn or criticize others.  Didn't your mother ever tell you that if you have nothing nice to say, then say nothing at all?

Pardon me. Did I point anyone out? Merely an observation that I find it interesting and sometimes off putting. Feeling a little challenged?  Seems so since you objected to a fairly innocuous post occasioned by my own observation. Feel free to say nothing elsewhere. Plenty of posts on here for you to voice your personal form of condemnation on... plenty here that I object to yet I tend to just stay away from them

You don't have to single anyone out to still be saying something not so nice at Christmas time.  I am not sure why you feel you are in the position to be judging people and their photo's, and NO, I don't feel challenged.  But like watching a kid get bullied in the hallway in school by someone judging him, I would stand up for that kid too, without feeling challenged myself.

It's not my fault!! My scruffy beard has a mind of it's own.  Don't look at me...I'M HIDEOUS!

@Arielle what do you mean by scary? Like they're ugly and can't help it or they're okay looking but are making scary faces or they posted a scary picture like Freddy Krueger?

Otters are pretty cute though don't ya think? I mean, they hold hands at night so that they don't drift apart....so sweet....yea they kill baby seals, but they do it TOGETHER.....and isn't that the true meaning of the holidays?

I need to express how disappointed I am regarding some of the reactions to the original post.  I've actually reached out to a few of these "scary" profile pics, some look really pissed off.  I encouraged them to put up a replacement with a more inviting expression, and each time, I was "thanked" for my input:-)  I've also seen some very inappropriate "new cuddlers" that I've reported to Mark.  "We are all reflections of one another, so what we see in others, is an aspect of ourselves". Meh...my "scariness" has been pointed out to me before. I just laugh at the human tendency to judge everything about a person based on pictures. A photo won't tell you everything. Remember, Ted Bundy was a happy, attractive man. lol

"Scariness" is subjective. What one person finds scary, another may not. What's great about diverse websites such as this one, is that we all have the opportunity to portray ourselves the way that we want to be perceived, in order to attract those that we want. If someone is not attractive or is "scary", then they're not for you. Someone else may find that "scariness" exactly what they're looking for. It's exactly the same with how some folks view Goth kids or those alien looking women that have had 30 different plastic surgeries on their faces to look a certain way. One person may find that scary looking, while another would be attracted to it. I say as long as no rules are being broken (i.e. nudity or violent/offensive images), then who cares? Worry about ones own profile and the types of clients/friends that you're attracting and let others be themselves without having to feel the need to control others around you that don't conform to your ideals. (Not targeting anyone specifically, just saying the generalized "you")

I was told by a person on here that I look "very punk" and she likes that. It's a pretty accurate take on my personality, therefore, I am pleased. 

Ya know what I find amusing are the people that post pictures with snapchat filters on here. I'm talking about the ones that make you look like you have a dog nose and ears lol Why do people like to use those as their default pics?

@joey012616 - You do have a point about Otters... they do rape and pillage together and that's to be admired. Thanks for changing my outlook!
