First hike of the year yesterday. As you can see from the pics, it was cloudy and leaves are still off the trees, but it was nice to get out and get a hike in.
A young blue tongue lizard exploring the lawn.
An old Gem
Palm trees at Mungo Brush, Australia
A couple sunrises.
@Btown Where was the last pic taken please?
@achetocuddle Arches National Park
Ran across this on a hike here in Northern Colorado.
An odd thing to find about 4 miles into the woods from the trailhead.
Hedgehog cactus, Terlingua Texas
Great shots @Btown love the reflection photo!
@MrPaul What kind of flower please! Love it.
December hues
OB, Sea World, Newport Beach and Pepper Park as my profile notes I love sunsets on the beach
In Ohio this year we are having a wetter and colder April. But some things are happening….
That’ above is granny apple 🍏
Blossoms floating in the pond
Pear 🍐 blossoms got hit hard by colder weather this year
@OhioMike You have the best pics! And looks like there might be a fine crop of dandelions growing at the water's edge. LOL.
I tolerate the dandelions because anything weed killer I put on them ends up affecting pond
Several water sources feed the pond. Here’s a creek from back woods
@OhioMike Lol, I wasn't putting down your dandelions, sorry! I'm thrilled you don't spray them and not just because of the water supply. Nonessential spraying is just not good for anyone near it. And dandelion flowers are pretty and your pics are proof.
@achetocuddle oh I understand you 😊👍 You know it has been awhile but years ago I get the door to door lawn people trying to sell me weed control for lawn. I'd just point to the pond and go.."REALLY?" 😆
I suppose this is nature lol. But when grass is freshly cut , almost all the dandelions disappear for a day or two 😊
@OhioMike So you mow a large expanse and take pics. Not a bad way to live. Even push mowing is kinda Zen to me.
@achetocuddle I feel I have been blessed many ways in this life for some reason 🤗
