I realize that there are many disgruntled people here in the states. I sense a difference with this election. In the past, we had conservatives and liberals in power, but it seemed that many felt that what the politicians were doing on capital hill would have little effect on how people would live their lives. There would be setbacks and gains regardless who sat in the presidential seat. This year, I sense that there are lot of people who feel that their chosen lifestyle will no longer be honored and there will be efforts to reinstate how things were before. I wonder how this community sees 2017, Some, I'm sure are rejoicing that we have such a wealthy man in power, but I'm not clear on what is being rejoiced. I don't know if we can have a cordial discussion or if people even want to discuss it, but I throw it out there.
