Maybe it's their looks, or something in their bio... Just curious
@Hellena I tend to gravitate towards positive, understanding and relatable people.
Pics & profile … their about me, the way I connect with them through words & how they describe themselves & interactions… but if they have pics & nothing written I won’t reach out.
For me it's all about the sense of humour. If I can't laugh with you, I can't cuddle with you.
I'm brand new and haven't cuddled yet, but I can already see a pattern where for me, clicking on a personal level in PM is the most important.
~ Sunset Snuggles
I look for someone who’s genuine, caring and communicates well, and doesn’t rush or get pushy about meeting up to cuddle.
location near me, schedule aligned with mine, price in my range, smiles in their profile pics, clear and understanding description in their about me... Then most important and most difficult one, they actually respond.
In addition to some of the things already mentioned, I also look at how they interact on the forums (if they do). There's lots of discussions on here, and their participation can show you what they are interested in, how they handle differences of opinions, what they think is important, their respect of women and what they are looking for in cuddling.
Mostly by how they interact with others on the forum, pics, and profile after that. And most definitely after I meet them, if I will continue to see/interact with them.
Are they respectful of others, engaging with thoughtful ideas, do they appear to be someone I would feel comfortable with if they where just a random person I had to share an elevator with?
Don't laugh at that last one. I've been known to make subconscious instant judgments on individuals of all identities ( gender / Socio economic ) for various reasons. I feel it's kept me alive more than once.
I have changed up my protocol for meeting new members who present as male. This is because some of them are creeps. You don't deserve access to me and my little weird world If you are going to push boundaries and otherwise make me feel uncomfortable.
Looks are a factor for me, but it’s not the only one.
Are they genuine, positive and engaging? If so, sign me up. Although I don’t expect people to be positive all the time, especially if they are going through something rough. In the case of the professional, location and convenience are important factors. I understand that money is central, but I’d rather not feel like just a payday. In the case of an enthusiast, we usually meet for a public activity like food before cuddling to get a better sense of each other. Or exhange numerous messages. There are some professionals which l exchange many messages but I feel guilty if I don’t/can’t book an appointment so I’m trying to be mindful of that.
@KYtranspant I think that’s a neat thought experiment to see if you’d feel comfortable with someone. Though my elevator persona changes from day to day. Sometimes, I avoid eye contact at all cost, other days I try getting to know them on the 20 second elevator ride!
@sunnysideup I don't take many elevators in my line of work. But when I do have to share an elevator with someone I take a read on them as I approach.
Do they prefer silence, are they possibly traveling with young children and would like more space from a stranger, are they struggling with luggage and possibly open to a helping hand.
Can I feel anger or hostility radiating from them? Can I desclate or should l turn and take the stairs immediately?
On the other hand In my volunteer work I've had perfect strangers cling to me sobbing while confiding devastating personal stories. I can be the strong caring judgment free individual for them for the little bit of time they are with me.
@xelda I completely agree. As I've read and engaged here the past few days, I feel you can learn so much more from someone's posts than from their profile.
@SunsetSnuggles @xelda
That’s so true, sadly most members do not participate in the forums
I like cuddlers with a smiling profile pic and Warm countenance. I love when they have their own boundaries and ask to be respected. Instead of just saying I’ll respect your boundaries. Likes to communicate well before you meet. People that like to meet for coffee before Cuddles.
Well dang!! When I first saw the title I thought, "This'll be an easy one!" But OMG!! I've really struggled with how to answer...
I've decided it doesn't really matter though, because every which way I've typed it up, it's all come back to their character and content of their messages ~ The 'what' within the 'how' of their communication - that determines if cuddling with them will be considered.
In other words, the number one factor for me is their mind and the degree to which it's compatible with mine. If we don't 'click' a cuddle just isn't going to happen.
Next would be if our touch types are compatible. If we don't compliment each other, then what's the point of us cuddling? Best to just be friends without 'cuddle benefits' at that point.
But if we make it through all that, it's just a matter of sorting the logistics so we can get our cuddle on!! 💓
See... so easy!! 🙄
except for the darn typos!! (edited)
For me it's something about their looks. Gut instincts. Having something in common is nice.
Perfect cuddler? That is a myth as soon as it is uttered. I wouldn’t want to be someone’s perfect cuddler because I am anything but perfect. I think ideal cuddler is a better term, but even that is elusive to pin down as I have experienced several people who surprised me and introduced me to something new or made me feel like I have never felt before. I wouldn’t want to take a transmogrifying endeavor and make it immutable. I would need a hug if I did that.
Yeah no cuddler is perfect. With pros I like to see effort, a genuine love of cuddling, & a caring/nurturing/gentle vibe.
Oh I guess I’m looking for that no matter if they are pros or enthusiasts.
@Syins well said ditto
