@Sideon I love wisteria. I have a yard full of massive spruce and oak trees that are easily 3 stories tall. I had too many trees and to preserve most of them I had to sacrifice two. I told the tree company to leave 15 feet standing. I took a drill and drilled holes into the 15 feet remaining and hammered in concrete rebar. My plan worked and they grew up through the rebar and then over the wire connecting them between the two trees. I now have a wisteria arch in a way but it looks organic.
My middleschoolers! I absolutely adore my job.
I got to see a good friend that I grew up with, she just had her first baby so I got her this book… She loved it, and the baby is adorable!!

Just picked up some of my repurposed horse blankets.
I paid it forward and the woman was so grateful. Made me feel really good.
A nurse gave me a hug and said "Everything will be okay."

Baseball, mint and chip ice cream, hanging out with a friend, music music music, and a very persistent robin, pecking at the grass even in the rain.
What makes me smile, even on the “bad” days, is how INCREDIBLY lucky I am to be alive today.
And especially to be alive in a time and place that human talents in music, science, and engineering have made it possible to listen to music from literally more than 100 years ago.
The good fortune to be able to listen to music all day long, anywhere, through headphones… The technology alone, from creating a quality instrument, to producing microphones and recording devices, to communication advances and smart phones and the internet…
I have listened to the greatest music made by humans, from Beethoven, Armstrong, Brubeck, the Beatles, all the way to Nirvana, Regina Spektor, Queens of the Stone Age.
Every genre, every culture, every Tik Tok pop song of the day.
All there, whenever I need it, made by talented people expressing themselves the best they can.
And succeeding.
Very lucky indeed, and I am grateful for it daily.

Horses bring me life. I came across this white horse today. I approach it and started petting. This horse was so calm, it allowed me to hug him. I miss him already:(
We are having a family reunion today. We rarely have one but we finally got everyone on parole at the same time.
