If someone posts a picture and still finds it necessary to tell people that they're attractive, it suggests to me that they don't think their pictures make it clear that they are. Confidence never finds it necessary to announce stuff like that.

@JoyfulHeart So true. And it makes it obvious where their priorities lie in deeming someone suitable for any interaction.
Still, I've read a couple of profiles where the guy mentioned his looks along with other, more important qualities and I was left with the impression that they just don't know how to talk about themselves.
I'm a little bothered by the small minority that may miss out on cuddles just because they don't have a way with words. I think a few guys will be different one on one with the right woman who is approachable and is trying to see if they are a diamond in the rough. I feel @SunsetSnuggles has experienced something like that here. Regardless she is an asset to this community.

I like how surprising accurate the Moon Knight show is to real life DID so far... I don't like how shockingly close to home episode 5 was. Really wish I had a cuddle buddy to watch with cause immediate tears and wanting to be held when that came up.

@achetocuddle The Moon Knight series is based on a Marvel Comics character. From what I've heard about the comics he wasn't even originally suppose to have DID and they were written during a time when it was still referred to as Multiple Personality Disorder. A lot of the comics seem to largely inaccurate.
Obviously being based on a super hero comic there are parts of it that are still going to be fantastical in nature but the show seems to have a consultant working behind the scenes making changes from the source material so that it's portrayal of DID is actually FAR more realistic than anything I've ever seen before.
I love the show... but episode 5 really should of had a content warning. There's depictions of attempted suicide, implied death of a child, it happened off screen, and implied child abuse which again happens mostly off screen but having personally experienced that kind of abuse myself even having it implied off screen was triggering. I was in tears, sad angry, and couldn't sleep after that episode.
I'm a grown ass man and I'll fully admit I was cuddling three stuffed animals just to try to calm down after that. The weird part is... I still kind of want to watch the rest of the series when it comes out but I'm kind of scared to watch it alone now... and that's how I ended up on this site in the first place.

I like swimming in a lake. I don't like my feet touching the bottom when I'm walking into the water.
I usually wear flip flops in the water (haven't bothered to get myself water shoes). It could be rocky or mucky and I can't handle either situation.
@Moxytocin Interesting answer. And you are talking about swimming in a Maine lake? And don't buy any water shoes. If flip flops work, be thrifty and keep using them. I'm all about thrifty. And buying the best quality I can afford, since it is cheaper in the long run.
