or fistbumps if hugs feel too invasive. I was at a Pride event a few years ago and there was a line of people with Free Dad Hugs / Free Mom Hugs shirts on. I didn't feel comfortable hugging them so I went down the line and fistbumped everybody. I smiled for days afterward.
