Just report them so they can be banned once again. I'm sure if SMS was required, they'd have just changed their number. This way, with any luck, they won't and you can identify them that way along with their pic.

I believe most on here use a burner app number. It would cost the site money to implement, and they would take a drop in those joining the site. This is a cuddling website, and certain things come with the territory. I think a lot of time the banned member is banned due to what he has messaged and not an actual cuddle session. Let's hope they have a better understanding of what is appropriate on here the next go around. This is a site where strangers come together to receive physical contact and surely when getting on here we must understand what that entails.
This is only a platform and as cuddlers we must all take our own precaution with every new person we meet to cuddle with. Banned or not you never know. We must all set our own boundaries based on what makes us comfortable. Asking for ID right up front will scare off a lot before they even get started. State your boundaries very clearly on your profile. Variety is the spice of life, and it is good for people to be very upfront about how they are comfortable giving and receiving platonic cuddling.
Bumping so I can more easily merge discussions.
i suggest that suggestions for the website could be its own top level forum section with dedicated discussion of each suggestion in its own thread instead of a soon to be hundred pages long super thread
@oberon I agree 😇 I’d also like all the suggestions consolidated like we have for the Frequently Asked Questions so people know what has already been asked and the official response to it.
I’d be willing to do that if the site admins are ok with that.
@oberon I agree, it must be hard to have 2 discussions in parallel on the same thread.
@musso75 Yes this is not ideal.
@EarthlyAngel003 You are not the only that feels that way about the pic you mentioned and I believe there is another thread that discusses along with some other things. Perhaps it was even mentioned a long time ago on this thread. Your suggestions for pics are better I think.
@EarthlyAngel003 @achetocuddle Agreed! That smirk... 😏😬
~ Sunset Snuggles
@EarthlyAngel003 @SunsetSnuggles I actually never thought anything about the pic til others mentioned it. I don't read anything in their expressions. But I know from doing it that the woman's position is uncomfortable and it looks possibly non-platonic. It just doesn't represent platonic cuddling well.
@oberon that’s an excellent idea. And then those thread suggestions that have already been implemented or won’t be can get locked and answered at the bottom so everyone knows the update on it.
@EarthlyAngel003 @achetocuddle @SunsetSnuggles lmao - yes, I always noticed that too. I don’t remember the subtle impression it had on me but he does look sneaky doesn’t he lol. Sneaky link
What if the meet and greets lived in the cuddle requests but pinned at the top there? That way they'd always be at the top
There seems to be a gap in the search filters, where you can list yourself as non-binary, but only search by binary options. I did not put a binary option in, so I don't know why it's lumping me in with one group or the other. Or maybe it's putting me in with both? Not being able to restrict who sees me to people who are actually okay with me doesn't thrill me.
Not sure if this has been mentioned but being able to archive a message unless a new one is sent.
I really love the website, but the available ranges ("Location near") to select in search are inconvenient I think, particularly the jump from 20 to 50 miles. The travel time doubles during this step, and 20-50 is the range that most people living in cities would use, making it inconvenient for most people I think.
The existing ranges: 5, 20, 50, 80, 100 (respective difference between ranges are 5, 15, 30, 30, 20) and notice the last step size is actually smaller (20) than the previous two (30, 30) would be better as: 5, 15, 30, 55, 100 (steps are 5, 10, 15, 25, 45) since steps always increase
This array of numbers is just my suggestion. Let me know if you have a better one.
I live in Wyoming, so I have to go to Colorado or Utah for my cuddles. 🥴
When we move to a city, I'm sure I'll have an opinion on this matter!
I’m not sure why it’s a dropbox full of preset choices. Why not let us set the exact range we want to search? If we could enter “64 miles” or whatever we like, we could adjust our search radius to include or exclude various cities, universities, border crossings or whatever else falls on or near the border of our search. The site still does the same math and doesn’t need round numbers to do it.
🙉 🥾 🥾 🗺️ 🎒
I love Wyoming!!!
Seconded.
@MonkeyNeedsAHug I agree! This would be the best option if Mark would provide it.
@CuddleDuncan Are you seconding Wyoming or improving the search ranges?
My .02.
I don’t know how it works to create a program and a website and everything. They probably picked the most inexpensive option at the time. Especially since it’s a non-income site when it was made I believe.
Lol I meant the search ranges thing in general. Both solutions are good I think.
Sadly I haven't had the pleasure of visiting Wyoming.
My search range is in this strange measurement called miles. I think miles are the thing that used to exist before everyone started using kilometers.
First World Problems...
I completely agree with the need to have other options. 20-50 Is a big jump
I agree with the premise, but I also think practically it's not that crucial. There just aren't that many women on the site for it to be a big problem. It's not like I do a local search and there are hundreds of profiles to comb through. There's maybe 30, and if 10 of them are a little too far away, this is not a major burden.
@Sooson
This is a forum for talking about cuddling and people's experiences using this web site. The majority of what people are going to discuss here is going to be "first world problems." Exactly what kinds of discussion topics did you expect?
@MonkeyNeedsAHug
I’m not sure why it’s a dropbox full of preset choices. Why not let us set the exact range we want to search?
This is possibly for technical reasons. Although it would be nice for a user to be able to specify whatever arbitrary search criteria they want, implementing that efficiently (and maintaining it) may be impossible or infeasible, especially given the very small development team of the site.
@Sooson shall we measure by Starbucks? 😂🤣
@11rollover and @CuddleWho There is a thread for site suggestions: https://www.cuddlecomfort.com/forum/discussion/1440/criticisms-and-ways-this-website-can-be-improved#latest
@AllAboutSoul Not a bad idea!!!. Just got back from my Sunday morning run btw.
Thank you to @Charlie_Bear for merging posts from other threads. I bow to his greatness, as I still do not know how to do so effectively after being a mod for a hot minute or two.
